Hello all board members,pls I called Inis today and was told file and final process and it waiting to be submitted to the minister.Inis also said they are finalising it and getting it ready to be submitted to the minister,is that a sign of approval since it is going to the minister.thanks I hope to hear from more experience members

Hi everyone, I rang innis on phone today, the lady told me that my file has been submitted to the Minister. Any Experience or idea when I could get the good news from them. Pls share. Thanks guys.

@ emmanuel did you find out what date it was sent cos I called today and was told my file is being finalised and getting ready to be submitted to the minister

@ koffiasengi. I think it was last week Thursday. Like I told u , my took 3-4 months until today the lady said it has been submitted already that I will hear from them shortly.

@ koffiasengi. I was told the same thing that they are currently looking into it in March after I have already been told that they don't need anything anymore.

@ Emmanuel, do you think they have started sending files to the minister. I hope my file would be sent anytime soon.did you ask the Inis staff when you called them what is the staus of your application or asked if your file has been sent to the minister when you called.

@koffiasenji. I asked the lady that my application is now a year, so she checked it and told me that my file has been submitted to the Minister, that I Wil hear from them in short time.

Hopefully yours will go soon. When last did u get yr second stage letter & when did you apply?

I got my second stage letter in February and I applied in October 2014.

I am guessing they're still processing the 2014 ones, which means the people that have applied in early 2015 still have a long way to go *sigh*...

@southern wing. You could be right tho, as I also applied in June 2014. Again, it depends on who is dealing with yr application.

Hi Guys,

I have applied in Mid November 2014 and i got second round acknowledgment on 22nd Jan 2015. I called them last week and lady mentioned that they have not received the Reports from GARDA ..

what is this means?

@csdrajkot that's strange that the reports are not back yet.maybe inis is lying to you

@csddrajko. It means yr gardai vetting is not yet back to them. They r still looking into yr details in the country it there is any criminal offence both the past & present. If they couldn't find any crime yr file will be submitted to the Minister for decision. I hope this helps yr question. Good luck to us.

Just saw a letter from Inis asking for 2 recent past photographs taken within the last 6 months. I have already sent the 2 photos together with the postal orders that was acknowledged but the photos was not. I will send them an email regarding that in few mminutes

@emmanueljames : I did not have any criminal case against me neither in Ireland nor in India.. Another thing that i would like share that i wanted to do volunteer work for some charity organization back in 2014 and they also did the Gardi Vetting for me and seems to nothing came out from this vetting (i mean no criminal record against me)

was there any convictions or social problem with your brothers case just would like to know the reason for delay its nearly a year after he got it

convictions on base of driving accident and fine by court
I apply same time with him but i got my approval in dec 14

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I received my Naturalization approval letter on the 23rd of April dated the
21st of April 2015.

In that letter i was asked to submit the following;

The prescribed fee of 950 euros bank draft or postal order

Original Certificate of registration ( GNIB card)

The application reference number written at the back of the envelop but
there was no request for 2 most recent passport sized photographs.

After consultation with people who have past through the same process i
decided to send the 2 passport sized photographs despite not being asked in
order to prevent any delay in getting invited to the next citizenship
ceremony.

My correspondence was received in your office on the 28th of April and was
signed for by D HAYES.

I received a letter today which was dated the 11th of May 2015 asking for 2
most recent passport sized photographs taken within the last thirty days.

I am not sure why i need to send another 2 passport sized photographs after
sending it with the postal orders and GNIB card and my application
reference number written at the back as requested which was acknowledged in
the letter received today.

Please kindly help look into this and also let me know if i still need to
send it.

Hi XXXXXXXXX,

Please note that you can disregard out second letter looking for 2 more
passport photo's off you.

There is no more documentation required from you at this time.
