It takes more than five months in 2015 for PR application ,so you need to wait 3 months more. I applied on 08/01/015 and still waiting.

Thanks

Kerr b Hi
I applied at the end of January. from my calculation I should get it by 6 of June, although I have request for my wife passport back since she need to go home next month
I try as much as possible to keep the application form simply and tidy less job sheet.

Yet another data point:
  • EEA4 application received by Home Office 13 January
  • Credit card charged 14 January
  • Certificate of Application dated 21 January (don't remember when we received it)
  • Permanent Residence Card dated 8 May
  • Received passport and documents 14 May

Managed to make someone to contact me from the HO... they called two days ago saying that officers have not submitted report to the caseworker yet. ( very frustrating as it has been a week now after a visit). They say that most likely it was a last bit that needed and I should hear something back 2 to 4 weeks ...BUT it I will not hear I need to contact them again... so not too sure if I actually happy with that response...
I fed up.

Omg I'm really sorry to heard this from you. Would you able to applied again. So what's next step that you have to take.you are self employed doing what sort of job you do if don't mind asking you what was your income. Reason why I'm asking because I'm in smiler saturation. Thanks for your time.wish you all the best

akz hi
I could understand how bad you feel about it. It will cost you another five months and £55 or 110£.
Just apply for eea1 or eea2 to start again,
Trust me I have applied for eea2 twice after when my eea4 application failed in 2013

I m non eea national my wife is eea national self-employed since 2010, they said our income is very low for 5 years time is main reason for refusal.

they calculate for 5 (60 months) years as £5545, actually it is for 42 month as as there was two time maternity leave for 9 months each time.
It was that income which in the statements and invoices, they did not accept any income which we have as cash.

I am not sure about chances but i m going to appeal, cost me £1800.

After two month i am going to apply for RC again as my wife is going to work and will earn £650 minimum per month.

how much the appeal process is long, is any one knows.

thanks

hi akz,

so sorry for this bad news...that's strange because I just spoke to one solicitor who said that under European law there is no minimum required income for European partner, however there is one for british spouse ..... are you sure that was the main reason for refusal ? from what I know is that on the 5 years your partner is allowed only 6 months gap for the whole 5 years, you said that your wife took each time for maternity leave 9 moinths, so 18 months in the total, which is too much ... have you been given advice by your solicitor ?

Hi Akz
Again so sorry to hear that.
It's really frustrating
Was your partner's total income was 5500
For all 60 months?
If so then it's merely around £90/month.
I'm not sure weather there is any income threshold for EU national's employment or self employment.
But I know in order to get benefits there is a new law from March 2014 that there should be 24 hours and minimum £149/month minimum income.
What documents did you send?
