Personal Licensee Holders querry

Hi All.

I am due to apply for my Naturalization in a few days but i am confused about the refrees to compelet section 5. One of my friends is a businessman and has got personal license for alcohol on his name. I used to live with him at the same address for more than 7 years, since last 2 years both of us have moved to different addresses. My question is:

could it be a problem if he attests my application as we used to live at the same address?

Secondly, where it says how do you know the applicant, can he write we are friends and know each other for more than 10 years? or friends cannot attest the application?

He should be fine as Referee.
