IT Returns

Post by dev » Wed Oct 10, 2007 12:17 pm

Hi,

we have to provide IT returns with the HSMP irrespective of our claim period.
Is my understanding is correct ?

Now my question is

In the Application Page 6, previous earnings section
Q33.Income Tax return covering period claimed for __ ?

In case, the full claim period is not covered in Income Tax return,
then would you tick the above box ?

Thanks
dev

Remember that IT return covering partially are only additional. You will have to submit two proofs that inidivisaully cover full period. Do not try to provide one proof for 3 months, another for 9 months.

I didnt tick Q33, as my claim period was not covering IT returns period.
I have mentioned all the details, given the reason and proof for exceptional consideration in my covering letter and have provided corresponding documents as well.

I have already sent my application and its been delivered on 10 Oct.

DO i need to fax it , saying i have not ticked the box ?
cos i have given all the details except, ticking the same

Dear Pantaiema,

I am applying very soon. The Question on this thread regarding Q 33 confuses me. The Question is:

Q33. Income Tax Return Covering Period Claimed for:
I guess one should only Check it if the ITR covers the entire period.

There is no question that ITR should be submitted whether or not it covers the entire period but whether to check Q33 is still questionable.

Please advice as to what you did

I;f your TAx return does not cover the whole period claimed (most people are falling into this category, unless U apply around April if U r in the UK)
You need to ask for exceptional circumstance and then submit oether evidence.

Thanx all senior and junior members for your help so far.
I read somewhere in the thread that i would need to provide good evidence that the tax assessment period in NIGERIA covers from Jan-Dec.

Please experienced NIGERIANS in the house should please assist me with the link and the website where i could locate this.

I need to conclude on my application.

ALSO I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED MY REJECTION DECISION LETTER AND WANT TO APPLY AGAIN BASED ON THE REASONS GIVEN TO ME BY THE CASEWORKER ON THE PHONE FOR REJECTING MY APPL.

IS IT COMPULSORY TO ATTACH THE PREVIUOS DECISION LETTER.

Regards
