English requirement skill-Certificate words from UNIVERSITY

Post by Siva » Thu Sep 20, 2007 10:47 am

Hi Friends,

I am from Chennai - India, I have completed my Under Graduate (B.Sc Computer Science) course in Madurai Kamaraj University, MADURAI.
To prove, English requirement skill, we got the certificate from the University.
Here the question is that, in my certificate, they have given the message as follows,
First they have given my name, college name, registration number, course and year of completion.
And question comes to my mind is that,

Code: Select all

"It is furthur certified that the medium of instruction of the said B.Sc degree course was English".
Is the above statement correct or not? Will HSMP caseworker look for the word as

Code: Select all

"taught"
in the certificate. Did anyone from MADURAI KAMARAJ UNIVERSITY applied the HSMP approval and status confimed? Please share your knowledge on this.

Hi,
My question is that will the HSMP Caseworker look for the word "taught" in the certificate or not? Since my certificate does not hold the word and it tells about my study was in ENGLISH.

Furthur help is required on this.

Hi Raghuraman,

Did you apply it and get the approval from HSMP caseworker? I have noticed that there is no specific word like "taught" in your certificate.

If it so, I am not having any worry about my Certificate Format.

Thanks

Siva

Hi Siva
Yes I applied and got through :-)
You can see the words
The medium of instruction throughout the course was English
which covers everything from class room instruction to writing the exams and practicals

Hi,
My consolidated mark sheet from Madurai kamaraj university has below wordings
"Medium of instruction is English"

Should i require to get another certificate from university
or the wordings in marksheet suffice? is there a possibility for my application to get rejected because of not providing a separate document.

Please suggest,Thanks in advance

Take IELTS. This is a simple way out.
