Hi i have submitted ILR application jan 2015 got letter for interview in April. I need to attend in Liverpool and living London what does it mean can any body tell me what is going on and what is the interview about.

April has indeed passed, unless its a typo error on the OP's part.

It means you need to travel to Liverpool to attend an interview. They need to verify the information provided on the application form and although interviews are not common, it is at the UKVI's discretion to conduct one if they feel the need to do so.
