Yes, it would be much easier if someone could check on my post.CR001 wrote:You don't have to inform them you are going on holiday. Easier to get someone to check your post for you who can contact you if anything arrives.
Home Office gets roughly a little more than 7,000 applications per month. You can email and write a letter and all that, but personally I see that there is a risk of oversight and/or your application being put on a pile of "deal with it later" case, where it could be sitting for six months or so, its okay to email and print out that email and send to postal address as a letter, but personally I think you risk delaying your Naturalisation process. Rest is your choice, of course.Torex wrote: During NCS appointment, they suggested contacting the Home Office in case of holidays longer than two weeks.
Would just an email with my application reference number be enough?
As long as you have someone checking the letters posted to you, and you know you can come back on short notice for your Biometrics, it should be fine.Torex wrote:Yes, I was wondering when the Home Office would actually read my email/letter.
As for your suggestion, I think I won't contact the Home Office about me being absent for a while.
