Update: My letter finally arrived today, dated: 27/05/15, saying I failed to register my biometrics info within 15 days, and I have to do it within 10 day this time. It seems my first letter was sent 06/05/15 but never reaches me. Anyway, had biometrics done this afternoon and now time to relax and wait

Hi, usman, It seems HO will write a letter again if they have no response from the first one, although I have sent emails to them, the letter says 'our record show that you failed to comply with this instruction (enrol biometrics within 15 days) without providing us a reasonable explanation, you now have 10 working days etc....', yours will arrive soon i think, keep updating

You should call them as looks like your letter is lost in the post. Do call them asap as you are supposed to give the biometrics within 15 days of the letter and normally they will issue these two letters on the same day when they take the money.

I think chowka is hoping the March timelines continue to apply to April. If end-of-March applications are being approved right now, it makes sense that beginning-of-April applications will be in the next week.

Since you applied before april 6, you should not be sent a biomet... invitation letter. But you never know you may get one. If you applied through NCS tell them you have not received acknowledgement letter. In any case i don't see this as an issue. You can also call HO and ask them if they give you any info related to that.

James- You may be right, but then we need to see a pattern on how HO deals with it. It may be one of the case both sides ( fees and applied date)

The home office calls are actually handled by a call centre who do not have any information. they will try to shrug u off. U have to be a bit persistent. Then they will log a referral which might take 10 working days (as of now still waiting for their call). Really frustrating. pathetic service.

Many are going through this and some of them were sent a second biometrics invitation letter (although i believe HO never sent first, not that many posts get lost) once 15 days had elapsed from date of first issuance. First letter is normally issued same day acknowledgement letter is sent out or within couple of days of fee being taken.
