Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General switch

Post by h1b||tier1 » Tue Jun 02, 2015 2:22 pm

Hello All

Here is the current visa details: Tier 2 ICT Long Term valid until Sep 2015, initial UK entry on this visa was Mar 2011. Please could you confirm if;

1. a switch can be made in country to a new employer who is ready to sponsor Tier 2 General visa?
2. if Tier 2 General is starting in Aug 2015, ILR eligibility will be from Mar 2016 or from Aug 2020?
3. is it okay if the new Tier 2 General CoS is with a SOC job code different from the one in the current ICT CoS.?
4. is it okay if the new Tier 2 General CoS is having a lower salary compared to the current ICT CoS.?

yes provided it is a genuine job and corresponds to your skills
4. is it okay if the new Tier 2 General CoS is having a lower salary compared to the current ICT CoS
yes but it must be at least what is given for the SOC code adjusted for the hours worked.
