FLR(M) Extension and 5 year Start Date

Hi i have question over here.
I entered in uk in 2011 on student visa, but turned to spouse partner visa in early 2013.
My first 30 month BRP visa ending soon, and require another extension to complete in uk.
Could any one explain me that when my Total 5 years will complete.
Do it start on my first initial spouse visa application date or date of visa start. Because it took nearly 6 months to get back my visa.

If you applied to switch within the UK, the 5 year residence starts from your visa start date.
