I have appointment next week for ILR and I have this question on Tier1G - SETO.
During my Initial period i.e, 1st year of my qualifying period I was employed in UK only for 8 months and my pay was very less.. so tax paid is also less. All my employment are perm.
later I joined other Company and there is significant increase in pay.
does that matter to caseworker or as Long as I have paid all the taxes it is fine ?

For ILR, you need to show HO that you are economically active during your Tier1 G visa but like Kashif830 said, you need to get points for earnings same as initial application (i.e consecutive last 12 months out of 15 months)VijayUK wrote:Hi,

That's fine, so long as you meet the absence threshold for those years. As has already mentioned in this thread you do not need to be in continuous employment over the entire residence period to be considered economically active.VijayUK wrote:There are two 2 months in different qualifying periods where I visited my home Country to spend time with Family. hope it is fine.
