Apply for PR after Visa expired, is it possible?

Post by claraluh » Sat Jun 06, 2015 10:08 am

Hello Everyone,

I am asking this on behalf of a friend. She is married to an European National, her 5 years visa expired in December, but her husband had not exercised the 5 years Treaty rights, so her solicitor advised her to wait and apply in August. But her visa has now expired.

Is it possible? Is she allowed to apply for a PR after her 5 years visa has expired? In My opinion I think they will ask her to apply again for EEA2, but I wanted to be sure of that.

Many Thanks.
