Dear brother,

Thank you for your advice, means so much to me in times like this. I intend to submit the case by middle of august and will get the address changed for july bank statement and july payslip.

Do you think its reasonable to get the address changed for the last month prior to case submission or shall i do without any further delay so i can have two bank statements/payslips for the new address?

Thanking you in advance
Do so as soon a possible to be safe and also mention in cover letter reasons

Dear brother,

I will get them changed as soon as my friend hands me the tenancy agreement.

Please advise if the requirement is to only get the entry/exit page stamped by solicitor or the personal details page too?

Thank you

and Tallojani - does your sister in law have to come within 28 days of the visa stamp or within 3 months, considering you applied after the 17th of March, the new BRP Card rules will be in place.
It is 33 months visa, BRP are supposedly to be issued on application submitted after 18th march but so far i have not heard of anyone been issued a BRP.

Contacted advisory centre, they told us that because this is our second application our mp won't contact home office/ bhc whoever they're meant to contact until 6 months have passed! Going back to the "service standards" they do mention that 100% of settlement visa applications are completed within 24 weeks!
Is there anyone else out there who has applied second time around recently, waiting or have got their visa?
yes its true mp wobt contact bfore stated time. but dont worry IA you will get visa soon as ppl getting it in 10 weeks including those applicants too who applied 2nd timr
wat was ur refusal reason in ur first app sis if u dont mind
Thanks, hope so :)
Its about 13/14 weeks now, weren't people getting MPs involved around 3months last year!? Lol
Last time I was refused because main reason was my previous employer didn't pay my tax.

Great news Aysha - may Allah make it successful.

All these lost application e-mails are just a way for them to make up for them not meeting their 12 weeks requirements.

May Allah make it good news - and may you be united with your spouse. Ameen.

Salaam brother,

Thank you for your reply.

In appendix 2 - point 3.2 they have asked to give employer's mobile number? I'm unsure whether to provide HR, Company Secretary or General Manager's number?

I was working for the current employer on a self employed basis until January this year but became their employee from February, I have had 4 payslips till date and hoping to have 5th in July and 6th in August.

I have an interview for another company tomorrow, what are the implications of switching job half way through your payslip cycle as my current employer is constantly under cloud of going bankrupt.

Thank you for all your advice so far

I wouldn't recommend switching employer halfway as this causes issues and mostly leads to refusal... in normal circumstances what people do if they change employer before application is show atleast 2 months wage slips with new employer and provide a p60 which has to show you was earning the threshold 18,600 for the previous 12 months. They then base the calculations overall.
If you do decide on changing employment do not do it once application is submitted...

In relation to employer contact number it would be best to provide any number where someone can verify your employment as the ECO may or will call to verify and if he/she is unable this would lead to rejection.

So it may be a good idea to have a chat with your HR department and ask them who would be best contact ... I would personally think it's HR as they would normally deal with Payroll and employment contact but manager is a good idea also

Bruv in Shaa Allah you would hear direct from UKBA to say it's been processed and then gerrys once it's back with them.

It's like a game of luck where some applications are constantly updated onto system and some just direct processed I've realised the pattern by feedback from alot of people who never get an update in request then unexpected receive email to say processed.
So keep faith and in Shaa Allah you should hear very soon.
if for whatever reason it goes over the 12 week limit then I would suggest harassing them like I call it advising they haven't met their timescale given of 12 weeks :)

@ sajjaduk
As you said, start harassing them after 12 weeks. What would be in my case, as 12 weeks have passed but they send an email on 20th May saying your visa application process has been delayed and we will not be able to meet our standard time....

what should I do?

Your case is slightly different from Hamza Amjad as he hasn't had any update as yet.

My advice for you is that firstly in Shaa Allah you should hear back very soon as these delays are normally minimal depending on how fast the information they are awaiting is conveyed back to them. Secondly email them once to twice a week and ask for update. They cannot hold requesting update against anyone as this is their job to update no matter how many requests they receive and hopefully it may get a reponse back to you sooner than just waiting.
