Something I need help with, say I buy a house (Pay the whole costs up front, no mortgage) besides the annual property tax would I be paying anything else? (Besides utilities) I'm talking about the government taxes

it depends on whether you are a first time buyer or not, there is a a Stamp duty Tax of 1% of the Value of the house , in other words if this is your first property ever in Ireland or Abroad you do not have to pay the 1% Stamp duty .
