Hope someone here can give me some advice. When I submitted my application for Naturalisation via NCS, I was being made redundant at 31.05.15. Therefore, the application form has period of work to 31.05.15. However, I have found a new job, and started working in June. Should I contact HO and let them know I am working. If so, how should I go about this:
1. Should I send a hard copy of the letter from my new employer, who should I send it to?
2. Or will HO accept a scanned copy of the letter, as I do not want paperwork going missing in the post?
3. Or will this not make any difference to my application or will it add a positive to the application?

it does not make any difference at all as for naturalization income/job is not criteria,plus information submitted at the time of application should be true which was indeed in your case.

yes in case of circumstances changes like change in address,name or any conviction need to be addressed properly.

Surprising how many peeps dream of that elusive brown envelope! I have dreamt about it twice in a week. Every evening when I come back from work, I earnestly hope to see that brown envelope. Its reassuring to know we are all together ...

statistics show that march/april is never a good period to apply due to policies change make alot of people applying and results in delaying the outcomes,but yes we are in a same boat i applied on 01st april 2015,just had an acknowledgment on 24th april and fee deducted on 24th as well,i am hoping another 3 weeks to get my 2nd brown envelope inshaa ALLAH.

Hi there =Landcruiser94=, I think if your address has changed you should inform the HO as soon as possible. On my acknowledgement letter it says that if there is a change in your circumstances,we kindly ask that you only contact us using this link: https://www.gov.uk/change-circumstances-visa-brp . by the way did you not like me receive an acknowledgement letter or email?

Hello Guys, I came back from holiday just to find the nice 2 brown envelopes, Just so everybody know in the Biometric letter state "You have up to 15 WORKING days" so I can confirm is working days no just days, I have just done this today that is 11 working days from the date of the letter, no problem at all.

It appears that last year's pattern is repeating itself. People who applied in April-May have to wait longer. Wonder if that's because they again have shifted staff to the passport departments?

Was it only April - May applications that were affected last year? Do you also happen to know what the trend was from June - August?

I have a feeling that early April 15 applicants will start getting updates from next week onwards. I noticed a couple of them have had communications this week (one rejected for failure to pay right fee, and another to submit biometrics again) and this could mean they have started looking at April applications.

Biometrics only became mandatory for applications received to HO on or after april 6.
