Most of the people applied in March 2015 got approved within 4 weeks. NCS lady told me HO is not gonna ask for biometrics as I have done it last year during ILR and THIS IS NOT TRUE! Has anyone applied in may 2015 got approval?[/quote]

Not that I've seen on this forum. Additionally, I haven't seen any approvals on the April 2015 thread either, so it looks like everyone is in for a longer wait, due to increased processing times.

As far as the NCS information goes, I'd personally just ignore the incorrect information they give. Everyone applying for naturalisation from April 6th would need to submit biometrics.

I know it's a little too late to be giving this advice, but if you knew you were going to need your passport you should have applied via NCS and not post. You can write to HO and request your passport be returned to you but good luck with that one. Not sure how long it could take.
