Probably better to make a new application and address their concerns as you will get a reply within 3 months. Appeals are time consuming and without any guarantee that you will succeed.

I haven't used this forum much so I don't know if I can send or receive any messages. I think it would be better to ask on this forum so that others can benefit or offer their opinions.

Too many to list but generally to do with my work, accommodation, bank statements, proof of marriage and subsisting relationship.

Its all dependant on how quick checks come back which in some cases take abit longer and nowdays they seem to be lagging behind on applications which is another factor for them not meeting timescales

Hi no I'd rather stick with my appeal as it is a very minor issue I was litreally missing a bank statement so it would be better for me to do an appeal rather than submit a new case and be refused of another reason..this is a refusal of my 2nd application as the first one was the lawyer/my own fault..I don't mind the extra waiting time as long as it gets done...I've been waiting 2years 3months..an extra 3 won't make a difference to me
1st App:10.06.14-Refused 21.11.14
2nd App:04.02.15-Refused 22.04.15

I am surprised that you got rejected the second time as well and just for a very minor issue. ECO should have exercised discretion unless it was a mandatory ground for refusal. Best of luck!

Why do you need to declare savings unless you are earning less than £18,600?

You can get refused for the silliest of reasons. I met a guy that got refused because he didn't have receipts of the calling cards and didn't have any proof of making phone calls to his wife. I mean how many people get receipts when buying calling cards.

I applied cat a and d...earning £13,000 with savings of £30,000..first application the lawyer never told me how many savings I needed exactly and I only had £27,500, so obviously result of refusal was lawyers fault and mine for not checking it out..but yeah they wanted to know we're the savings came from yet first time they didn't ask were they were from..so that's why I didn't want to re apply because I know one person on here has been refused 3 times all for different reasons...

My dad knows someone who got refused because on the property report they didn't state which room the couple would be staying... Silly reasons.. Oh well Allah knows best..onwards and upwards

Get payslips and P60 for part time job. Get employer to pay money directly into your bank account and get a letter from employer stating that the job is permanent and not temporary.

You must complete the online form VAF4A
Pay the fee for the visa and also the IHS fee which is the NHS fee only then are you able to book an appointment for submission and biometrics.

Think what your lawyer is saying is that they complete the form there ... print and book appointment.

For my wife's visa I completed the form here in the uk paid the fee and posted everything out to her including documents

You have to apply online, pay the fee and only then you will be allowed to book an appointment to visit the centre. You will need to take with you a print out of the online application and also fill in the appendix 2. You will also need to pay IHS fee separately and take the confirmation of payment with you as without it the application will not be processed. The payment also has to be made online.

The fee should be around £950 for visa application plus Health Surcharge.
