The overall stats seem to suggest that out of 10 visa applications about 8 are successful. So you have a good chance provided that you take your time and get the paperwork right.

Guys my refusal was because its legal for funds now to be shown on bank statements. That's why no point me appealing.

They acknowledged that I got paid cash and might have spent some money and put some in bank, but they said it's now legal to show exact figure going into the account then u can spend as much of that as u want by withdrawing it.

So my long six months process starts from now. In Shaa Allah next time will be an accept and hopefully will carry on working hard.

This time I will tell me part time employer to pay exact amount straight into my account.

Also u guys probably know this but Spouse Visa fee has gone up to £956. :(

I'll be doing dua for guys that are still waiting and hope u guys do dua for me.

Thanks.

Is there any point in escalating? Or is it bogus!
Asked for an update and they said they'll escalate it!?!?

You don't need to do anything further as when you requested an update they responded back to you that they will escalate the case ... this means that it will be raised and hopefully you will hear something back soon In Shaa Allah

Hi
Can someone please clarify which form you have to submit for an appeal. The refusal comes with a form IAFT 6 but you can only appeal against a human rights claim on this. Are you suppose to complete a IAFT 2? If so why have they sent IAFT 6? I know they have been some changes to appeal rights but I thought they applied to point based applications..

As you applied before 6th April you fall under the old rules so can appeal the decision under old rules

https://www.gov.uk/immigration-asylum-t ... april-2015

Read through this link .. think they send that new form as standard as it would make things complexed for them if they had to send 2 different types according to date of application

Only for applications after 6th April have to appeal under rhuman rights or ask for administrative review

I don't think they answer phone. It happened in my case as well but then I sent them an email with my wife details to book the appointment and they replied within one working day with appointment details.
Hope this helps

I think it will be different according to location I guess.
But if you search the nearest TB test in your locality, then there will be an email address. I think when I called them and they didn't answer, the automated machine gave me the email address to book an appointment.
Regards

Printed bank statements stamped by bank are fine, in particular since you also have a letter from the bank.

TB tests you can book through immigration agents or lawyers there as well.

That would be sufficient enough to satisfy the ECO so don't worry send it off with the rest

Oh phew
Thanks guys. IAFT 2 it is

Does this mean if we had applied after 6 April we would not have been able to appeal?? :0 just out of curiosity - as it says you can only Appeal if you have a human rights claim..
