Looking for the right emmigration lawer

Post by hanna » Mon Oct 15, 2007 7:11 pm

Hi all,
Im from non-eu country and currently live in UK.My husband is a student and he has 17 months to complete his degree course. We are thinking of migrating to Canada, but I am not sure if we can apply within UK.My question is where can I find a good emmigration lawer to help me with my paper work?Would the English lawers be able to help us , even though we are not British?
I would appriciate your advise.
Hanna

It is advised that people apply for immigration within their home country, but you can probably still apply from UK. As for lawyer, check immigration lawyers association like this one http://www.ilpa.org.uk/ for listing
