What do you mean "sealed" wageslips?

Why do you want to do that?

Hi Vidya,
I got an email confirming the same.

Also I have one question at this point:

I recieved reference number yesterday. I am planning to have MBE collect my docs once the decision is made. I did NOT mention this in my cover letter as it is only now that I have decided that I would not like to wait for time take by postal service (Royal Mail). Besides I think they plan to be on strike by end of oct again.

I plan to mail and fax HO to inform this as I recieved ref number yesterday.

Will there be a problem if I tell them about courier pickup now?
Is MBE reliable. Anyone used it recently?

I got back my certificates and the approcal letter today.
It was dispatched to Chennai on 11th October by the HomeOffice.

As said by a lot of members in this forum and some of my friends, they have taken off all the files and put all the docs in a single cover and sent it.

Any nice that I got the whole process over in 10 days.

COuld you guys with your recent experiences of Both Approvals and Rejections Adivce me on a Salary Issue:

I have my 12 Salary Slips which give X amount as my Gross Salary each. I have an additional Bonus Payment Slip which shows Gross Bonus Amount & Tax Deductable & Net Bonus Amount Paid.

So in all I have 12 Salary Slips + 1 Bonus Payment Slip = 13 Slips.

A) My Employer has Sealed and Signed all 13 Slips.
B) Employer's Letter which Lists Total Earning over 12 months broken up into 12 montly Salaries + 1 Bonus Payment
C) Bank Statement shows all 13 transactions.
D) The total adds up to the GROSS Salary amount on the Income Tax Return on which Tax has been paid.

My Question is:

Will this 13th slip be considered or not? Because the Guidence notes state that Allowance not on the Wage Slip be ignored.

Please note that all 13 transactions (payments) are with in the 12 month claimed period.

Please please do advice.

I think your bonus will be considered since it is also reflected on a wage slip. Just make sure it is also reflected on your bank statement.

Dear Alllllll
Finally i got my original docs and refusal letter today...Case history is as under..

Qualification :
Claimed - 3- ...........Award - 30

Age: Claimed - 20.................Award - 20

Earnings: Claimed - 30.................Award - 10 (jus 15 short to be approved)

Now i tell you the whole story and plz guide me as can I go gor a review or not??????????????????

I worked for 2 employers....Employer 1 & Employer 2

For Employer 2, I submit all 6 month's wage slips + letter from employer (as ITR did not cover the whole period). They considered it OK and award me 10 points for this..as my earnings fall in GBP 3,727.

For Employer 1, I submit all 6 months' wage slips + ITR and my gross salary matches exactly with the figure on ITR form. That's Y i didnt submit letter from employer for that.

but the case worker state that your Employer 1 salary does not coroborate with your ITR.

Please advice me in this regard as Can i say to case worker that my ITR matches my 6 salary slips and they coroborate with each other..and these are 2 piece of evidences which i have provided for my Employer 1????

Or i have to re apply and send letter from employer for Employer 1 as
well. I have the letter from both my employers now. But it will cost me more GBP400.

One more last thing....can I do like this ..that go for a review first..and if not get success...re aplpy.... Is there harm in it??????????? and DO i have to wait for any specific period before re applying for HSMP or can I re apply straight away...

Plz do comments....Love to all..

my docs:
mba certificate with transcript
IT return covering partial period
salary verification letter from HR for the claimed period
pay-slips (signed and stamped) from HR for the claimed period
original bank statements for the claimed period.
letter from HR on the name difference in pay-slip and other docs (due to truncation in SAP application)

AMIE Sec A&B certificate and transcipt

Now the second inning starts.

Salary Attestation for HSMP

Post by satheeshkumar » Wed Oct 17, 2007 2:36 pm

Hi ukjobaspirer
I am planning to do HSMP, and so I have a few queries...

1. Is it better to do it ourselves or i stand more chance of approval if i go via an agency for processing? :(

2. What reason you gave to the HR people to get the 12 month salary slips attested? Normally they will issue the service letter, but then to ask for attested pay slips, i need to give some valid reason... So thought will check wiht you on this.

3. I have done my Masters in Engg. But this was Integrated course fo 4 years and so can i tick exceptional consideration, and submit a letter from university for english as medium of instruction for this ME, instead of Bachelors course?

4. The Qualifications section in the application form also talks about professional qualification. If i am not going to claim points in this section, then i dont have to fillin that right? Likewise, if i am not going to claim points under 'Age assessment' (I m over 32 years) or the 'MBA Provision', then can i leave these sections without filling any details and refrain from submitting any evidence on these??

5.I worked in UK from august 2004 to september 2005 on a work permit. But its over 2 years back (I have my NI number also), and can i use this information in any way while applying, for the 'UK Experience section'?

6. Is it safe to let then HO return our docs by Airmail? Or should I check with them to send the same by DHL or Fedex?

7. Should i submit the personal pages of my passport for additional evidence? Will that be of any use? I have got my passport renewed while i was in UK, and so it has an UK address, so will it be of help in any way?

8. In the covering letter, (as you've mentioned in the thread) you provided a tabular column with the following column - Month, Total Earnings, Total Deductions, Net Pay, Date etc, with the details from the monthly salary slip right?

9. Is It enough to provide Ack. form along with the 12 month Salary slips & bank statements for 12 months? Should i also submit ITR1 form?

It will be of much value if you can reply me on these points...
Many Thanks.

Documents pick up

Post by purplepple » Wed Oct 17, 2007 5:04 pm

HO is so weird!

I just received an email from apparently my caseworker saying that my degree certificates are with her and if I want them to be picked up. I though they already dispatched them last Oct 8!

Anyway, I already contacted MBE. I'm glad at least that I will get my documents soon.

Will update you guys of the reasons for refusal. I hope I can still file for a review.

Now I know why. They sent my OTHER documents and decision letter via AirMail last Oct 8 but my degree certificates (which are in frames) were left in HO. Then, they emailed me after 9 days to ask that I pick it up via courier.

And I thought I will get the decision letter soon and have time to file for review.

Hi marrik
1. Did you get your docs back by courier or thro airmail? How safe is airmail you feel?

2. Also, did u send the pay slips with sign from HR, even though it was on a proper company letter format?

3. How much time it took for you to get the language certificate from your university?

4. Do you feel it make any difference to go via a representative, than doing it ourselves?

marrik wrote:Purplepple,

The first time I did not send signed and sealed wage slips though it was on a company letterhead. So the next time around, I added a letter from the employer as well just in case.

All the best to you!

purplepple wrote:Hi marrik, congrats!

What was the reason for refusal in your first application? What did you change for your second application?
