this is how it is

what is your marital status: married
will your partner be travelling with you: no
current passport no
nationality
family name
given name
date of birth
does your spouse currently live with you: no

im confused because it does state in the information given that its the spouses details they want but it must be becuase the applicants details are given previously. if its under spouse that must be who's details they want??? Please Help!
Can you post the number as mentioned in the form for the questions. I think that they are asking for the details of the spouse which in this will be your details. Your husband is the applicant and you are his spouse.

Is that the same solicitor that didn't know about the online application? Just enter your passport number where it asks for details of the sponsor.

congratulations

could you please confirm if visa was issued for 28 days or 33 months

thanks

The visa is valid for 30 days only ... once, the person comes to the UK, then they will send the BRP which will be for 33 months.

It's 7.14
On the paper form there's a box where you can write relationship to sponsor (married) the online application only has scroll down menu of which shows partner or other relative not husband or wife

I think that question is asking how you are related to eachother? For example, uncles son or daughter. I'm sure everyone was clicking "other relative" I'm sure I did too. :)

Same here.

I put in "Other Relative" after asking UKBA on email, and explained it in additional information section.

So if you are not related to each other than through marriage then you would write down partner if you had a choice of writing partner or other relative.

If you were related to each other and had a choice to write partner or other relative you would still write down partner.

Something doesn't feel right here or maybe the questioner hasn't been able to explain the question probably or the list of options that come up on the scroll down list.

Hmmm maybe we wrote other relative as well although we were not related to each other... cannot remember now. They should change the question or rephrase it.

I ended up putting partner. If you go on the there web page you it says if you applying to come live with your partner (ie spouse) so that is what I put and according to my local council now it's been changed to partner instead of husband, wife in order to be politically correct.
