Same here....still waiting..called them and I was told to check again in 2 months time....

When did you call themm.I tried to call them last week and they said they can not acess any information.

they should in 2-3 days time but it is likely to be of no use..all they can say is whether it is under processing or a decision has been made or not...

just wanted to lost here that guys hopefully im at the end of myHO saga...i received a ceremony invitation letter but not the HO spproval letter..ceremony booked by the council on 23rd...hope its not a talk to up by the council and HO approval letter reaches on time

I did before election and was given a 3-6 months letter...this time round I wrote to the MP but before she did anything I got my ceremony invitation letter and because the letter came through post the next day I believe dated a day earlier....

I did but I believe before she could do anything I guess the application was approved.

Thanks for your reply.I contacted my MP last week and he received a 3 to 6 month reply from croydon office.I am really sad.and slso the letter has cts ref number .

Thats what I received as well in the first instance. But really they do not take that long especially when you have already waited 9ish months (usually in the first 3-4 months and in many cases much earlier) . I really hope that you hear something very soon.

Hi all just to give you a updated, got a letter 22-6 asking me to sand any passports by the 10-7 I sent the one i have with a letter saying the previous 1 was lost, they sent me back a letter today saying because I have not produce all the documents they have asked for I am refuse that's my story I first applied on the the 16th of the 9 2014

sorry to hear that mate , can u explain in witch part of good character u failed , they cant refuse your application just because u lost your passport , thanks

The letter States we have received your reply to our request but we cannot be satisfied from the documents available that you met the good character requirement and your application is refused, and it goes on saying in addition before submitting a fresh application you should ensure that you have fully comply with UK immigration law in the 10 years prior to date of application and as I said all I did not send was to cancel passport that was lost

What I realise they are doing now is checking back 10 years not 5 years anymore so am I think it would be best for me to reapply in 3 years time I'm ok with that and the pressure is off, for the waiting so I'll just keep my 80 pound, but I wish everyone that is still waiting the best of luck

Yes I wrote them a letter detailing the reason for the last passport but they said what I have mentioned previously
