Congrats!. I sent two passport pictures just in case.

Certificate of Registration is the GNIB Card (Green card). Since you're an EU national, you never really had one.

17th of July just around the corner!

Hi PALS: I got this feed back on my -mail today, after asking Inis for an update for my application. Below:

Hi Emmanuel,

Please note that your application for naturalization is being prepared for
submission to the Minister. If further documentation and/or clarification
of any matter related to your application is required from you, we will
write to you requesting it. Otherwise, you will receive a letter in due
course informing you of the Minister’s decision on your application.

Anyone have an idea on what could happen next? as my solicitor just sent them a copy of my new GNIB last week? Any idea?

EmanuelJames, as it is now, you just have to be patient and remain calm and positive. It's still going to take further weeks/few months to bring your case to finality. You can only hope for the best now. Good luck!

Pls can anyone advise what does Inis mean when you receive this below email from them and what stage is the application.

Your  application continues to be processed. This office does not currently
require  any  further  information  or documentation from you at this time.
While it is not possible to give an exact timeframe, this office will be in
touch as soon as a decision has been reached.

A submission is being prepared or already prepared and forwarded to the Minister for a final decision, an approval hopefully. You're almost there and most likely you're to follow in the next batch of approvals after July 17th. Good luck!

For all the people here i thought i was the least able to received Citizenship, i was almost unrecognizable on my old passport and beside all my native country government is unable to provide new one due to political climate and the temporary Stamp 4 i received is due to expire to December.

And yet this morning i received a letter i opened it and... That was my approval :) i felt on my knees such a feel i can say i am Irish.

They asked for 950 € and photo i'll send it to them soon enough before July.

My timeline

Acknowledgement: 09/03/2015
Second Stage: 28/05/2015
Approval:15/06/2015

It's took 3 months and 6 Days thanks everyone for your precious help and experiences over those times i wish you luck, it's time to celebrate:).

Did you have a court case/conviction, fines (paid/unpaid)? And if, were they disclosed in your application form? Will be helpful to have these facts from you before one can give a sound advice. In all, do not despair, it's only a matter of time for you to get an approval. Good luck.

Yes exactly, I did disclosed the crime !& they also asked me to put it in my own writing last year September, of which the lady also asked me the same question this morning, then I told her yes I did disclosed it, but she told me that they just want it to be clears be for sending out final decision. I don't know if this info is true.

Good you disclosed the crime issue initially and now I think your solicitor is in a better position to elaborate on this to the INIS as requested and to explain the circumstances relating to the crime but more importantly an assurance from you that you're now a remorseful and changed person who wouldn't dare go back to engaging yourself with any criminal activities again. I'll also think you should talk to your local TD about this development and see if he/she can make representations on your behalf as it would be re-assuring to the INIS also. Best of luck!

@kindoman. Thanking you for your advice, I will hear from solicitor tomorrow. & try to reach out with my local TD. Who knows if it's an approval maybe the lady is just been secretive on proper info :) they already told my solicitor in early January that they don't need anymore documents from us, that my file is then prepared to go to the minister for decision. Is now six month since we received the letter.

Guys,

I got my Approval today.

Timeline:
Applied: 12/03/2015, Delivered: 16/03/2015 (Stamp 4EU Fam Permanent Residence)
Acknowledgement: 8/04/2015
Second stage: 08/05/2015
Approval: 17/06/2015

Does anyone knows how long it takes to receive invitation letter? I'm scheduled for an official training in the UK on 28th of July 2015 and my office has made all necessary payments and arrangements for the training. As a result, I would like to understand possible time-frame for receiving an invitation letter after the submission of my GNIB card. I'm just wondering whether I can make the July 17th Ceremony if I make payment and also return my GNIB Card this week. Many thanks.
