well i got a reply AHAHHAHAHA

Dear ********,

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.

We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status (GWF**********‏ and date of
birth 28/11/1994) and found that there are no current updates. This could
be because your application was submitted recently or the details that you
have provided above are incorrect.

If it is the former you may contact us at a later stage once our records
have been updated. We will be happy to give you the current status of your
application. If the information provided is incorrect then please provide
the 9-digit GWF number and the date of birth of the applicant.

Alternatively, once the process has been completed and a decision has been
made the visa application centre will be in contact as per process.

Though we try our best to complete the visa application process in 15
working days, each application is subject to an individual assessment and
processing times may vary, hence applicants are requested to be patient and
wait for the processing to be completed. You can check how long you'll have
to wait for a decision on your visa application in your country (if you
applied from outside the UK) by entering your details at the following
link: :
https://www.gov.uk/government/organisat ... on/about/a
bout-our-services . Please note that the actual processing times may vary
depending on a range of factors.

We have service level standards for processing UK visa applications. We
will process 90% of non-settlement applications within 3 weeks, 98% within
6 weeks and 100% within 12 weeks of the application (biometric taken) date;
and 95% of settlement applications within 12 weeks of the biometric taken
date and 100% within 24 weeks of the application (biometric taken) date.
Please note that we define 1 week as 5 working days.

We strongly recommend not to book prepaid travel and accommodation before
receiving the visa.

For any further details, or should you need to contact us again please
refer to our website at https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com/, select
appropriate country, click next and then select 'E-Mail form' and complete
as instructed. We will aim to come back to you within 1 day.

Kind regards,
Dean

UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry Service

Dear Sajjaduk,

When should one set up the online account? If all goes to plan, I intend to submit online application by first week of August.

After how many days on average you get Gerry's appointment once you submit the online application? I am planning to visit Pakistan as close to appointment date as possible.

thanks brother
You can make an online account whenever your ready but only submit the application when you're ready to submit and then book an appointment.
Completed aapplications remain on system till submitted for 3 months before the account is then deleted[/quote]

Thank you brother

Asif I would email them again in 2 weeks. You may get some better response then. Currently it is probably a bit too early to contact them.

It has taken them 12 weeks in your case. So they still have end of March to complete. You should get an sms to go and pick it.

Why don't you pay the fee in cash in Pakistan? Or has that changed recently.

Emailing them won't make the process go any faster. You need to have sabr. They will look at your application when they do.

Like Asif you also need to wait another 2 weeks before you start emailing. Emailing them again and again is not going to make a decision any quicker. It is only worth emailing them once they have passed their 12 weeks, only then will they take your email seriously.

Second application, second appeal and almost my third year anniversary but the appeal was allowed thank God.

I went to court on 22nd May and we got the determination letter on 10th June.

How long is the wait now? How long before they call my wife to submit her passport and then how long do they take to stamp the visa?

Congratulations! It must have been agonising. Under what ground were they refusing to issue the visa?

Thank you. Yes it was an extremely difficult time for me and my family. Especially with our daughter too.

The first application was refused because we hadn't done the enlish language test, we thought she was exempt but she wasn't.
Second time they refused because we didn't include gross annual salary on the letter from my employer, however, we did include the contract which had all relevant details so the Judge allowed the appeal.

Where they have employment contract, payslips and p60 they shouldn't need a letter from employer confirming the pay.

I don't think that they are that quick to issue a visa so you will have to wait a bit. I don't know the timescale, but someone here should have a rough idea.

You can email them back by all means, but I think they have their own way of making decisions, in their own order so I think they ignore emails unless there is delay beyond their scheduled time. I mean they are not going to push one application ahead of another just because one person sends emails every week and the other patiently waits, because that would not be fair.

I don't know what reason you would give for asking them to escalate it when the 12 weeks that they informed you at the start have not passed. Even if they write that it has been escalated it probably means that your application is getting closer to being looked at anyway. 8 to 12 weeks is the period when they probably start looking at deciding most applications.
