MATERNITY ALLOWANCE FOR CHILD VISA

dear friends i want apply visa for my son.my problem is salary issue.my wife is on spouse visa as well. so i need £22400 salary.last year they refuse visa bcause of salary. My salary is £22100 now working from 17 years.My wife is working for more than six months in six months time She earn £3800.I hope it will be ok.but very soon she going to apply for maternity allowance because not qualify for maternity leave.can someone advice me it will be ok or not.will they consider this as income. its not public fund.

I accept that your wife will not be precluded from claiming Maternity allowance as per her immigration status, but she will nevertheless not be able to add it to the income threshold i believe.

State pension is the only state benefit that is counted toward the income requirement.

UK Maternity Allowance, Bereavement Allowance, Bereavement Payment and Widowed Parent’s Allowance can all be counted towards the financial requirement.
