I recently applied for my wife's parents to visit me. Well, they applied in the consulate back home, I just sent them all the papers.

What I had to provide from Ireland:
1) Letter from my employer (I'm here on a Stamp 1, my wife is on a Stamp 3);
2) My bank statement going back three months/salaries;
3) Utility bill with mine and my wife's names on it;
4) Letter of invitation from me.

What they had to provide to the consulate from their side:
5) My wife's birth certificate on an international form (i.e. in English);
6) Their last pension checks/slips.

Hope this helps!

Yes, you have to apply online. I emailed all the papers from here to the consulate (but, it is a small consulate). They still had to go in person and give their papers and signed application forms, and a photo.

Doni have to email the papers to karachi. As i filled in the forms and when it comes up to appointment there are few cities in there like lahore which is closest to my coty instead of travelling to karachi
