Hi
As i am going to apply ILR on 26-07-15
but i am confuse such as
my wife on PBS dep grant visa by British high commission 24-10-13
she came to UK 31-01-2014 means after getting her visa ( 03 months and 6 days )
her visa is going to expire at 26-07-2015 means total she spend (1 years and 5 months )
If i going to apply her PBS DEP extension she will be granted 3 years more and send the application by post so the assume that HO will send her application back after 4 months so the total time then it will become 4 years and 9 months means 26-11-2018
so still its short of three months to complete the for ILR
1. can i use first three months when she grant the visa by British high commission which was 24-10-13
or should i switch into spouse visa ????
or as i heard that there will be no more ILR GRANTED after 2018 on tier1 general route and no more extension as well
please can any one help me in this qusetion or any best solution

She has to spend 5 years in the UK because she was granted the visa after 6th of July 2012.
Dependants, who applied before 6th of July 2012, only have to spend 2 years but your spouse does not fall in that case.
You have to keep extending her visa until she complete 5 years and then she will be eligible for her ILR
Good luck

The extensions for Tier 1 are closed after April 2015 and not 2018. After April 2018, there will be no more ILR for Tier 1 but I am not sure what would happen in your case.
Wait for seniors to reply.
Good luck

PBS dependants can keep extending their visa even after 2018.
There is no such restriction on extensions of dependant as of yet.
The restriction you are talking about only applies to Main Applicant applications not to Dependants
Many Thanks,

Hi all. Just wanted some advice on my current situation.
Arrived in UK - 2008 on Student visa
Changed to Tier 2 visa (Issued 20/07/2010 --- 01/07/2013 )
Extension Tier 2 Visa (Issued 16/05/2013 --- 15/07/2015 )
So basically I am around 5 days short for the 5 years rule, Should i apply for extension or apply for ILR?
Many Thanks.

You may
apply for
ILR no sooner than 28 days before the completion of your qualifying period, i.e. from
Monday, 22 June 2015 and preferably before your leave expires.
