Tier-1 Dependants Postal Application

Post by abhi_011 » Tue Jun 16, 2015 9:32 pm

Hi Experts,

I am applying for Tier - 1 Dependant Extension for my wife and daughter as their visa is due to expire next month. I have got couple of queries, if somebody could please help me on same will be really great

1) As i understand UKBA has introduced online application ( https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-partner , https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... dant-child ), i have filled and submitted (paid) the applications.

Do i supposed to fill in another application https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -dependant as the online application is relatively small as compared to the paper form.

2) Secondly as this is going to be my first experience with postal application, should i send the applications for my wife and daughter together with all required documents in the single post or as individual posts.

As i am showing single maintenance statements for both, it would make sense to send them together. Can somebody please confirm if i am doing right thing.

Thanks,
Abhi

Hi,

I have done the same last week. Submitted wife and daughter tier1 general dependent extensions in online instead of paper form. Could you please let us what have you done? we appreciate your help answering this query.

Cheers,
Ram

This what it is mentioned on the ukba website. From the last line I guess you will have to use paper form. I might be wrong.

Dependants applying in the UK on their own

Your dependants can apply to extend or switch their visas to stay with you if they’re already in the UK. Dependants can:

apply online - dependant partner application
apply online - dependant child application
download the paper form
apply in person for the premium service

You must use the paper form if you’re applying as a family group at the same time or using the premium service.

No signatures.
Just printouts of the online application & checklist info.
Passports, bank statements and 2photographs of each applicant.

Gave the biometrics on 03rd august 2015. Waiting for the reply.
I am not sure whether Ukba will consider this online submitted applications of my wife and daughter. In the ukba site mentioned that family group must use the paper form.

Abhi_11 submitted the online applications I think. Abhi could you please confirm.
