May 2015 Naturalization Application TIMELINE ONLY

Anyone waiting who applied between 10-15May, i have applied on 13 May and have not received any email/mail nor my fees deducted yet. Since i don't have any reference letter/number so how can i get confirmation from HO and i think they don't give any update until 6 months. Anyone have any idea?

I phoned HO previously, they have assured me that no application will ever be lost.
But I was advised to phone them again at the end of June when 6 weeks lapses (I applied on 12th), then they'll check for me.
( but a few days later I got their letter)

Hello all

Ok so I'm worried.

I submitted 21/5 but have received no email or nothing and people around that time have already submitted biometrics. I need to travel this august, how do I do that without a passport?

I don't understand why people book trips, where they need to use their passport, when they are having to submit passports as part of their application? Or why not use the NCS?

I mean let's be honest, they do say it could take up to 6 MONTHS. Don't you think you should allow for worst case scenario? This forum blows my mind.

I guess this is directed at me. If you read my submission I did use ncs....you'd also know I am a British citizen but because I'm an expat in another country I am applying for my new born baby who has no other passport as I only have British. Summer is when we want to come home to the UK....but can't really do that if baby has no papers

A.zaheer. I was told that whilst baby wouldn't have to give fingerprints, shed be required to get her photo digitally taken.

Anyway, I still haven't gotten an acknowledgement email even tho money came out of my account in first week of june

Yes. God knows whats happening. I applied on 12th May via Solicitor and appliation was received by Home Office on 13th May. Solictor is saying that fees has been deducted but I havent received acknowledgement and biometric letter yet.

HO deducts the fees and "then" sends the ack email. This is the case for most of the people here. However my case is being held differently I suppose:( are there anyone out there who are in the same situation?
