I dunno, because they don't care about you? Because they're disorganised? Don't spend too much time worrying, life is short, do something else while you're waiting .. ;)
hahaha, may be they really do not like me

I got a brown envelope, and it was from Home Office. I was so close to celebrating but sadly, HO want one of my passports :(

The letter (dated 12-Jun-2015) stated that the passport is required to prove to the Secretary of State of my residency between 2010 to 2012.

I find that period kinda odd because I got my work permit in 2009 which expired in 2014  Ahh, well let the waiting begin :?

Good news is guys, they are going through Feb applications :)

Feb applications have been distributed among caseworkers I think. That's why, these applications are being picked randomly.

Thanks for the update. When you made the application, did you send them photocopies of your passport?

How dare would I make such a mistake  I didn't use NCS and posted my application with all my original passports. Once I found out it'll take them ages, I requested the return of my documents.

Aha, I see. Well at least you know they started to look at your application! Hopefully you will get the response soon.

Has there ever been anybody that sent photocopies of passport and had the HO ask for the original passports?

The passport got delivered today so I'm hopeful it'll land on the desk of the case worker by end of tomorrow.

I think you can send photocopies of passport if you have a valid reason not to send in the originals (e.g lost, stolen, etc).

Mian Ji, make an online request. And there'll be a question, 'Do you want to withdraw your application?' Make sure you do select 'No'. You're not gonna lose your fee. Lotsa guys, including myself, have used that online beta version. And if you don't receive your documents within ten working days, give them a ring at 03001232253.

Received my brown envelope yesterday. Applied on 16th Feb , rest of the dates (fees deduction and acknowledgement letter) are similar to most other cases. i.e. one week after the application. Best of luck to others.
