Hi Guys

I'm in need of desperate information

I've been following this post a while now I did post my wife's story here and her success in which she got her visa under FLR FP parent route (10 year route)

Now the situation is my wife came with her mum July 2009 the age of 14 now 22 her mum applied for asylum because my wife's nan had a stroke kept on applying after refusal now that my wife got visa surely my wife's mum got a case here.

Can someone give me some advice as my wife's cousin sister went to a good solicitor they said they can't do nothing.

Hi guys

Pls advice needed for extension flr(O)
pls i need your advice..
i want to make sure i have the right things before hand.

I got DLR in oct 2013 based on the parent of a british child. The father and I don't really talk so I'm solely responsible for her..Its going to expire in April 2016..please help me with the ffg questions:

1.How soon can I apply (really worried with the new govt)?

2. What would they need for extension? any proof from the dad to show hes supporting? what if he doesnt support at all?

I'm not claiming any type of benefits at all and i pay for her nursery, house rent from my hard earned work..I have my own company which i'm contracting from and I'm director?

Will they want to also see any form of employment or company records?

Thank you in advance

Hi Everyone, I am posting for the first time on this forum.

Here is my time line for DL extension application under rules before July 2012.

Previous DL Expiry was : 20/04/2015

FLR (O) submitted : 10/04/2015
First Letter received for payment: 14/04/2015
Second Letter confirmation of payment : 20/04/2015
ECHR Letter issued : 23/04/2015
Biometric letter issued : 22/05/2015
Biometrics done : 28/05/2015
Further Documents requested : 12/06/2015
Further Documents submitted : not yet.

I have a question related to further documents being asked by UKVI. I have been asked to provide up-to-date medical report for my medical condition. Previous application for DL was made under article 8 and 3 grounds (citing medical grounds), and over time 4 different medical reports were provided to UKVI from NHS. Few months ago I moved to see private doctor for consultation because I needed a change in my medication which NHS doctors were reluctant to change. Now, I would not be able to provide up-to-date medical report from NHS but can provide it from private doctor who sees me (He also holds a position as a consultant in NHS). Can home office object against this report and ask me to provide it from NHS as I did before. Is there anything in law which prevents home office to accept this report or any question they can ask me related to that or may be they can reject my application over this. Someone on this forum might have came across this issue before and might be able to guide me .

Shell I get private report or shell I see NHS again. In both cases I have to pay fee for this report because when NHS doctor writes a report it comes under private time of doctor. Also because I do not see NHS consultants any more I believe they won't write it for me. I have limited time to submit it what can be done, please advise.

[quote="Cupcake08"]Hi all,

Been following since February 2015 and finally plucking up the courage to ask advice. I'm an Australian who is married to a British and we have had 3 children all born in the UK aged 10,7 and 16mths.

I stupidly forgot my passport had expired and that my last visa had also expired a year before, therefore classing me as an overstayed. Anyway I was pregnant with my 2 child when I lost my job and couldn't afford the fees. We finally managed to save enough over a few years to pay for a specialist to help and advise us and finally get this mess sorted out.

I've applied for FLR(FP) under article 8 as it was known, just wondering if anyone else has applied under this and how long it usually takes to get a decision as I know it's consider outside of normal waiting times as per letter from HO.

many thanks :)

Timeline so far:
Application sent through solicitor 02/04/15
Application Letter received 11/04/15 (I got acknowledgment letter 20/04/15)
Biometric letter 15/04/15 (I received 20/04/15)
Biometric taken at PO 28/04/15
Flr decision: 11/06/15
Documents/passport: 11/06/15
Biometric card : 11/06/15

Just an update, got a call from my solicitor today to say my visa and card had been approved and are sitting in his office ready to be collected or sent out (chose to send out as I can't get to London due to school and childcare). So all in all it took just over 3 months from start to finish pretty quick I think as I was expecting a 6mth wait due to me being an overstayer for so long.

Just want to wish all of you still waiting to not give up hope and good luck. Xx

Congratulations,
We applied at the same time but I'm still expecting the decision.
application sent 27/03/15
Biometric received 16/04/15
Biometric done 16/04/15
decision waiting . ....

Dear Forum members,

I have couple of questions regarding Switching from FLR FP (partner) to FLR M and it will be much appreciated if someone can help me with these.

My wife got FLR FP (Partner route) visa March this year. She overstayed her previous visa (tier 4) by 7 months from July 2014 to Feb 2015 that's when we submitted a FLR FP application. Now i would like to switch her into FLR M Spouse (5 years route) as i fulfil all the requirements.

Is that possible? If yes would her previous overstay will be an automatic refusal for her FLR M application?

She has passed IELTS SELT test at B1 level whereas requirement for FLR M is A1. Would that be a problem? Although B1 is higher than A1.

Please can someone answer above queries.

Many Thanks

Me and my family have overstayed in UK for 7 years and we've applied for FLR(FP) however I was caught in a shop where I went to see a friend and HO has put 2 charges against me. First is Working illegally and second is providing false information as I was too scared and gave them my friend's name and dob. If I plead guilty to the second charge how badly will it effect my immigration case?
Thank you.

FLR(FP) and Discretionary Leave to Remain timelines

Post by Mr Goody Goody » Wed Jun 17, 2015 1:36 pm

Hello All,
Just a quick one, I sent my application to the HO on 2nd of June and up till today I have not received a letter nor a confirmation of application though a check on the Royal mail website shows it has been delivered with a signature and name of the receiver. I believe most applicants receive a letter within a week of application for the FLR FP both on 7 years rule and partners of a British citizen. Please good people advice on what to do. Thank you all

Yes sometimes it longer for HO to acknowledge, but if i were you,you should have apply through premium service for your extension, but £400 different and you will get your decision same day.

My wife is in the same boat as you Mr Goody Goody. My wife also applied on 22 May 2015 and money was taken on 2nd June 2015. Still waiting for her Acknowledgement letter. We are unsure what to do as it is unusual to wait more than 4 weeks for an acknowledgement. Could anyone please suggest us what to do or provide me any telephone number of UKVI or HO so that we can contact them?

Initially i applied for residence card under the Eu But i was refused and was granted an appeal and was taken to court, the Home Office respondent came and i was told to make another application under right to private and family life because i have established good and subsisting Family Life in Uk... that was the verdict of the presiding Judge. hi everyone!!!!!
i have been a silent follower since last year and finally got the courage to post my story
i came to the UK illegally through ireland in april 2012. i have been with my british partner since august 2010. we met in my home country where his mum is from. we had our first daughter in 2011 and he left soon after to settle in London. i followed him the same year but went to ireland for college then left in april the following year to my sisters in manchester. i kept going up and down from london to manchester until i fell pregnant and gave birth last year to our second daughter in january. i finally moved to live with him permanently in march. i first applied for zambrano in august and refused in october with the right to appeal. they gave me the right to work so i raised enough to make another application based on family and private life. i applied in march of this year and it took like 3months to get a final answer so heres my timeline below:

flr (fp) sent 16 march
acknowledgment letter received 23 march
biometric letter 25 march
biometric done 26 march
more documents requested 28 may deadline 10 june
more documents sent 8 june
documents and decision received 15 june GRANTED
BRP received 18 june
to God be all the glory!!!!!!! thank you to everyone. i couldnt have done it without this forum!!
