AgeProof-Passport Personal Page-CoveringLetter Justification

Post by pjp_eee » Wed Oct 17, 2007 11:51 am

Hi Friends, I am applying for HSMP this month, I have all the necessary documents except for the age proof. So I am supplying Notarized Passport Personal Page Copy and my School Certificate.

1) Can anyone provide me the good covering letter to justify why I could not produce the Birth Certificate or Driving License
(In my case I don`t have driving license and my birth was not recorded that time)
2) Regarding NOTARY, Should I get the same from Home Office approved NOTARY Officer or any NOTARY Officer is fine?
(Currently I am living in Germany)

Thanks for your time and help. I appreciate ur answer on this.

What is the reason that you do not have a birth certificate?

Hi, Thanks for the reply. My Birth is not recorded during the periods of 1981, since my hometown is a small village. And my parents did not register my birth with the government office. So now there is no record saying this is my DOB other than my school and degree certificates.

You are going to need to provide evidence of this.

Try to get a driving license. That is the only way out. If you have this you will not need to provide evidence for not having birth certificate as Victoria suggested. There can be evidence for something which has been done. How can one get an evidence for something which has not been done.

Same Problem

Post by ammu28 » Mon Oct 22, 2007 10:42 am

Hi,
Even I am facing the same issue. Is there anyone who had given Notarised copy of passport and got HSMP approval.

My case is similar to this. I was born at home , so there is no record for that. I dont even have driving license..

Thanks,
Ammu

Guys,

I am the VICTIM, I spent £70 on Notary....Homeoffice overlooked the evidence....i have ticked exceptional evidence and tried to justify but without LUCK.They rejected my application.

Re-born in a city or Get a Licence...sounding bit harsh thats truth

Then the authority who would provide the birth certificate would have to provide documentation that during that period the birth records were not recorded perfectly but you are better off getting a license like everyone else has suggested
