I also got an email acknowledgement on 3rd of June for application receipt though my money was deducted on 5th of June. I then got a postal acknowledgement of the full amount deducted on 11th of June. I haven't got any biometric letter so far though. I applied via NCS on the 11th of May and the application was received by HO on 14th of May. I guess I am in the mid May batch who seem to be the neglected lot. Well, I'll continue to be patient.

Yes. God knows whats happening. I applied on 12th May via Solicitor and appliation was received by Home Office on 13th May. Solictor is saying that fees has been deducted but I havent received acknowledgement and biometric letter yet.

HO deducts the fees and "then" sends the ack email. This is the case for most of the people here. However my case is being held differently I suppose:( are there anyone out there who are in the same situation?

I find it really interesting how a lot of people who applied w/c 25th May onwards are progressing as expected, i.e. received acknowledgement, biometrics, etc. but people who applied prior to that week are having a rough time with getting anything.

It must really be driven by the caseworker's desk that your application lands on as "Date Order" has really flown out the window in May it seems.

All I can say to everyone waiting for stuff, is don't let it get you down. You probably just have the caseworker who has been on holiday in Ibiza for two weeks, or the guy who likes to take a long lunch, or just the "lazy one." Keep optimistic and don't think the Universe is conspiring against you.

In a few weeks / months time the majority of you will be posting your approval dates / ceremony dates. Keep that at the forefront.

I called Home Office and they told me its normal to take about 6 weeks and also they have told me to wait till June end and if still haven't received anything give them a call again and then they will assign it to a caseworker who can have a look.

I got the biometric letters on Monday at home address but I work away from home so had to wait until today (Saturday) for biometric submission.

As you can see from the timeline above, my wife submitted the biometrics nearly a month ago and I submitted nearly 3 weeks ago. We haven't got the response as yet. April applicants are still waiting to get their first approval. So I think it'll take one or two more months before we see any May approval.

Realistically, I am expecting a reply late August early September. And I applied on 8th of May.

From the minute the caseworker starts dealing with an application, it shouldn't take them longer than a week. All personal info about applicants is a phone call away or it can be obtained online.

Same story for me as well.
I made my wife's application on 12th May
And fee has been deducted on 5th June.
no ack letter and biometric letter yet.

I called HO, they told me to wait until 3rd July.
