NHS Tier2 VISA sponsorship

Post by UKQEEN » Fri Jun 19, 2015 6:25 pm

Hi Friends,

I am on Tier 2 dependent visa of my husband and my husband will lose his job in few months time.

My employer (NHS) willing to give me Tier2 Visa but they are not sure how they can conduct RMLT because I am already working for them.

Is it possible that NHS can give sponsorship of existing permanent employee??
If yes what they have to do??

Thanks
Koyal

Unless your job is in the shortage occupation list, they will have to conduct the RLMT. Once successful, apply for a restricted CoS. Once approved, assign the CoS to you. You cannot apply for Tier 2 visa from within UK. You need to go back to your home country and apply for entry clearance.

they would need to advertise the job for 28 days and then do interviews only then if they cant find any suitable local candidate they can issue you a cos?

what is your role?

do you know your soc code?

please give us more details so that we can help.

Biomedical Scientist BMS, SOC code 2112.

Do they have to record documents and reason for not taking any local candidates??

HR not sure how it works so i am very tens and even I dont know the process.

How about prof of English language.

Does NARIC statement of comparison is valid to show this requirement.
I have expired IELTS report as well. Is it valid as well?

The OP is the Tier 2 Dependent and working for the NHS, not the main Tier 2 visa holder.

as far as i know you don't need RLMT if you are working for the employer for more than 6 months(well that was the case with me atleast) only thing im not sure about is that idk if its possible to swap like dependent to main applicant and main applicant to be your dependent.
