HI,
I have checked the Tier 3 guidance but I cant seem to find a list of documents required for extension.
Could anyone please send me a list of documents you have submitted to HO when you applied for tier 2 extension.
Thank you

Hi JS28
you might have not got a reply if this query already answered in any other threads. Also You have stated tier 3 initially in your post and then tier 2 extension .( so query is not clear) if you are requiring information about tier2 extension. below are the details.
You need a new COS stating your join and end date from your sponsor .
payslips ( 3 months) and P60 form ( recent ones) not necessary but i have submitted them
nhs surcharges refernce number ( you need to pay online and you will be recieving reference number.
if you are paying online and going for one day service, you need to submit payment receipt
previous BRP Card
Passport
duly filled application form
2 passport photos
PBS Calculator form ( not necessary but i submitted one)

Hi
No, they will issue and send a new one reflecting your new cos ( start and end dates) and you dont need to send bank statements as you will be exempt from maintaining funds. Payslips will be suffice.

I'm going to apply for my ILR based on 10 yrs. I believe that I have to submit all visas I've had in the last 10 yrs and that includes my BRP...
What would happen if they don't give it back?

Hi
I DIDNT GET YOU WHEN YOU SAY ALL VISAS. If you got stamping on your visa that will be in your passport , any BRP card will be replaced by a new one when you made a new application. If you apply for ILR , YOU will get a new BRP Card by post with your ILR . if your application GOT rejected , YOU WILL RECIEVE YOUR EXISTING BRP AND PASSPORT BACK .

HI,
I am extending my visa. Do I need an unrestricted or Restricted COS? Also, how long does it take to apply for one and where can I find the information about this?
Thank you

If your Tier 2 extension is for the same employer with the same role and responsibilities that were set out in the CoS used for original leave, you will need an Unrestricted CoS to extend your leave.

If you are applying in UK, you definitely need unrestricted.
If out of UK, then restricted COS.
In case of extension, you have to apply from UK, so restricted.
If you go back to your home country and cooling period applies before applying for Tier 2.

Your post is contradictory. Extension = in country = unrestricted.

Hi ALl,
I have an appt with HR to apply for UCOS. My current tier 2 visa expires on the 31st of March 2016. However, I am extending my visa earlier in December 2015.
What start date do I put? March 31st 2016 or When I apply for a visa i.e. January 2016? Also, what end date do I put?
Many thanks

Hi
I would think actually 1st April 2016 since you cannot have visa overlap
It's not clear what your current CoS says though and this could be important, are you switching from restricted cos to unrestricted?

Whatever date you put will supersede your current visa. The start date you put will only have an impact on the expiration date because your visa cannot take you above 6 years on Tier 2 and you will probably apply for a three year extension.

Hi
I read it but it doesn't say which documents to send for extension?
Do I still have to send the following?
1.) Bank Statements for 3 months?
2.) 3 months payslip?
3.) Savings account with at least £945 and £600 for dependents?
4.) University certificates to prove English
5.) Proof of residence i.e. flat contract
6.) Old BRP
have I missed anything? Also, is it advisable to go for the postage application? I am wary about my passport being lost by Home Office.
Thanks

You don't need 1 or 2. Pretty sure you don't need 3 or 5 either...
Are you sure you've read the application form and guidance?
