Slaam Saf,

I believe below link contain all required information. I would suggest you to read all sections that are relevant to you. It looks to me that sections

5.3.1 and 5.6.1 are more specific to your question.

Saf as long as the total earnt is over £18,600 it can be 12 from one job and 1 from a new job even as long as the COMBINED total is over the 18.6 make sure you have employment contract/letter from employer and p60 if possible.

Based on my experience, I would suggest you to ring UKVI advisor (do not rely on email only), explain to them what actually happened and request them to escalate this to high commission Islamabad. I hope and pray that British high commission will allow you to submit your documents.

My spouse did not submit her original English certificate but after ringing to UKVi , UKVI escalated my issue with the UK High Commission and we were allowed to submit her English certificate.

My best wishes are with you. May Allah help you with this.
Nasir
Thanks Nasir, will give them a call in a day or two.

I am sure I read somewhere you need to be in employment with the same employer for at least 6 months.

For Category A, yes. You just have to show you earned at least £18600 for Category B in the last 12 months.

Have to say I agree that is way to long it's either a granted application or rejected. Unless OP is referring to an appeal

10 weeks today from the date biometrics were taken and no visa yet. Emailed for an update on the status of my application and requested it to be processed faster/escalated but the response was that it is waiting to be assessed by an ECO. Hopefully sometime soon :-( need duas

They will inform you when they receive the documents and they will inform you when they have made the decision. Anything in between is meaningless, as you may get a different response each time you contact them, without being any the wiser.

Attention to new applicants
Assalamu Alikum,
I have called HMRC last week to get the records of my employments & tax for last financial year (upto April 2015). They were very helpful. They have sent me a letter with all jobs (with starts date) total amounts of tax paid over the period.
Although, I have submitted my application prior to get these documents. I think, this will be a very useful supportive documents for cross reference of all the employment related paperworks (i.e employer letters, P60 and Payslips).
If you are planning to apply now, it will be a good piece of supportive evidence along with others.
I applied under cat A with two jobs. One was 9 months and other was 2 years.
Many thanks
Rahman

Lilstar
Same thing happened to me, eventually they stop replying, keep emailing them, soon you'll get the "escalate you case" email. And even then you might get this; 'Pre assessment and online verification conducted - Application is under process for further enquiries – checks'
Don't worry its normal for them to mess us about :)

Hi,
Has any one applied after 6th April with increased fees and NHS charges added and receives the visa yet?

Dunno why but it seems like they all gone on holidays and April applications are not getting processed as fast as it did with or up until end of March!!

May Allah grant every 1s visa in this blessed month. Ameen
