Has any one applied after 6th April with increased fees and NHS charges added and receives the visa yet?

Dunno why but it seems like they all gone on holidays and April applications are not getting processed as fast as it did with or up until end of March!!

May Allah grant every 1s visa in this blessed month. Ameen
Either as you said or that there may be an excessive amount of applications that were lodged end of march trying to avoid paying the nhs fee

Hello all,
I have send them an email last night for an update on my wife application. I just got the reply that "there is no update on the application"
They also wrote that if I want to escalate I can by providing some information so that that they can track the right status of the application.
What you guys think should I escalate the case considering that it will be week 11 on this Friday or I wait for next week and escalate the case once 12 week standard processing time target not met.
I am still wondering when they says "there is no updates yet" does it means it is with ECO and he hasn't update the application or it is yet to be seen n worked on by the ECO.

Good luck to all those who are waiting.
Khan.

You should count your self lucky and escalate, it dont have any impact on decision. All it does is get the Alarm bell ringing to their Manager that you are lacking behind. Decision is urz but I would esclate. There seem to be a delay in their end dunno why though!

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.

We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status (GWFXXXXX and date of birth
XXXXX and found that there are no current updates.

If it is the former you may contact us at a later stage once our records
have been updated. We will be happy to give you the current status of your
application. If the information provided is incorrect then please provide
the 9-digit GWF number and the date of birth of the applicant.

Wishful thinking I guess :(

I had the same problem and then I figured I was doing something wrong in the information. When they ask you to write down the GWF, I was writing down GWF123456789. And I got the no update reply. When I emailed again I wrote ONLY the nine digit number 123456789, not GWF123456789, and got the update that it is waiting to be assessed by an ECO. Not much help but atleast I stopped worrying that they lost my application. Try that! Hope it helps

Not many april applicants on forum compare to March.

AOA...

Just sent a fax to isb bhc for the attention of the ECO to bring attention to a minor mistake I think there was on the application..
Will be updating if I receive any acknowledgement from ISB BHC and maybe it may help others if I have some success.
The fax number I've used is the same number people would send their determination letter and cover letter if they've not receive a call letter

Fax only goes through during embassy opening hours
UK time would be 3am till 11.15am

@sajjaduk

Got exact same email as u. My application was submitted day after u. Looked on their website to see processing time. It's says 97% application will receive decision within 90 days. So looks like they way behind.
