Translations for Tier 2 General visa

Post by shradhacea » Mon Feb 09, 2015 4:16 pm

Hello all,

My name is Shradha. I have a job offer in UK and want to apply for Tier 2 visa.
Currently I am a resident of France for last 4.5 years. I have a resident permit, called titre de sejour' of type scientific, which is renewed each year here. Its a separate card, as big as a credit card (its not pasted in a parrport).

I was wondering do i even need to translate my residence permit card? I never had to do this for my other visas, like for USA.
Please help as my appointment is next week on Monday and I am freaking out.

Thanks
Shradha

Dear Shradha,

I saw on http://www.immigrationboards.com/uk-tie ... 81033.html that your application has been successful. Could you tell me whether you needed to translate your 'titre de sejour' or not? I am under a very similar situation, and your reply will most certainly be of great help.

Cheers,
Mem.
