ENGLISH TEST FOR TIER 2 GENERAL

Hi Moderators,

I want my Tier 2 General Visa to be Extended. i want to clear my IELTS Exam.

Would you pls let em know whether i need to clear IELTS GENERAL or IELTS ACADEMIC?

Any help on this is much appreciated.

After April 2015, not all IELTS are accepted so you must take IELTS for UKVI. You should ask IELTS center that you are taking test for UK immigration so they will register for correct IELTS category, i.e., IELTS for UKVI.

IELTS GENERAL is OK , no difference, Academic is for study purposes , For tier 2 you should obtain score as per CEFR level B1 in reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Thanks for your response but no where its mentioned that for tier 2 you need to take IELTS General..
I also think its IELTS General But want some evidence so that my VISA application is not rejected for this Silly reason..
