Morning all,I called the HO yesterday to enquire about my eea4 application which is a week over 6 month,I must say to my surprise I was told by this lady on the phone that they have been told applications are now taking 7 to8 months which I think was just to get me to put the phone down, how true is this, she didn't even ask for my details to see my file.

Sali5464 yes my 5 year would expire on July 16 2015
As I told you when I call 95% of them say 28 days before
But I spoke to this guy that was so nice and he explain that I
Could send it off 6 months before because they take up to 6
months to make a decision and also explain how to spread
My documents across the 5 years

PR received today
Applied on 17/2/2015
PR received today dated 23/06/2015

The HO did not use the prepaid envelope I have enclosed therefore no point in trying to track your application through ur that.

I applied using the self-sufficient route and I had to provide evidence for sickness insurance for the last 5 years. Now that I have the PR, do I still need to hold CSI for the british citizenship?

You still have right to work until tribunal decides your case and you can ask for an uptodate COA if your current one is more than 6 months old.Following is the email address on which you ask them for an upto date COA.Hope it Helps. Can you explain why are you refused and under what circumstances you applied.

You don't have to wait till 2020, you can applied for PR when your marriage clock 5years or wait till May next year just make sure you can provide your 5years p60s and some payslips. Hope this help
Thank you for this information
Just one more question have you sent 5 years documents reside in UK (address proves) or the period u had spent with ur wife or only one year as in ror in order to pr ?
Have u sent divorce certicate with letter retains !

Hi. My friend applied for PR 5 months ago.
He just got a letter saying he needs to come for an interview next week with his ex wife.
He doesn't know where the ex is. Does anyone have experience with this interview thing and what to do if you can't find your ex??
Please immediate answers will be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi KKBA, can you give more details of how your friend has applied for PR? did he divorced? did he declare they were not together anymore? and how long after getting married did they divorce?
