17 months got nothing to do with them. It's only been some days over 2 months for you. You chose to apply when you did maybe due to a lack of documents. But no point going on about how long you've been married for, it won't speed up the application.
I've been married 28 months hahah just saying
Yes, but you were misinformed and had a solicitor who knew nothing apparently, which is why you've had to wait so long, unfortunately.
Yeah I guess there is a reason for it all

We can't say they not started april as there have been a few April's who have got their visas
Another contributing factor is location submitted as some are lagging behind than others
sanahtalha wrote:Hi guys

Don't worry if there still on March applications just because they get looked at in order doesn't mean the decision will be made that way too.
I have a teo friends who both submitted around the same time. One was a nurse who worked for the nhs and another was a distant cousin who was self employed (shop) the nurse got her visa in 3 weeks!!! Where as my cousins didn't get his for 14 weeks. I think the type of job you have does affect the time scale.

Yes I have noticed some locations are taking longer then others

I have a question about the changes happening from
Monday. Even though the papers will be submitted in Sheffield from Monday will the decision still be made by the same people?
As far as I'm aware decisions are made in Dubai still right?

Does it matter?

Whoever tells you anything, will be guessing, because right now no one will probably know.

As far as I'm aware all decisions are made in Pakistan now. There was a time period when the application went to Abu Dhabi, but it's not like that anymore.

At abu dhabi only visit visas are processed there and will still continue after 6th july
Currently most settlement case decisions are done at croydon though the file prep takes places within pakistan extending processing time

Shocking to see that the BHC is still dealing with the March applications. I applied in May and I can't really see a reply coming from them till September :( . I hope I am proved wrong, but it does seem that way. On the bright side, the ball is rolling.

Visa Timeline

Still not Seen by an ECO according to the email sent in the 4th week.

Assalamu Alikum,
My time line is nearly same as you. Location is different. Some location is quicker than others. Without hearing anything, i sent an email on week 4 and they replied ' in progress' .
Please share if you have heard anything.

can any of u please share the link to pay NHS fees. ( i got a link though but when im clicking to register its directing me towards blank page)

i thought paying fr NHS must be one of the section of online application like visa fees section.
