So they told me today that they did actually post bio-metric letter 2 weeks ago ... and hence, I should request a re-issue of the letter ... So, if you are from mid May, call them .. .

I get the feeling that they don't know exactly what's going on. He asked me the date of acknowledgment letter and then told me that date when the biometrics letter was sent. Judging by the comments here, RoyalMail does not lose that many letters in its post. I get all the spam mail but not this? I don't think so.

It appears strange that the fees is not taken yet. Anyone had similar situtaion ? Is there any number to contact them? I tried in the number provided on website but before 6 months, they are unable to answer !

Hi All,

Even after fees being deducted on 10/06/2015 didn't received any acknowledgement or biometric invitation letter. Emailed NationalityBiometrics@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and was told a letter was sent out to me on 10th June, which I never received so another one was sent out yesterday.

How long do they normally take to respond on this email address? I emailed them yesterday about the same issue. My letter was, apparently, also issued on 10th of June.

To me they responded within 1 day.

Hi There,

i am about for apply for naturalization on the basis of 5 years work and 1 yr ILR. But as per the new form, we have to disclose the employment history for last 10 years. I was student before 6 years and have worked part time in sales roles here and there. Do I have to declare that as well ? If yes, will it affect my application ?

Also if my application is rejected for some reason, can HO cancel my ILR ?

February and March being processed now!! Bearing in mind, there were 11710 applications in March 2015 alone. Some ~3000 applications more than usual.

Apparently they don't send out acknowledgement emails from the nationality biometric email . I was told to wait for 7 days .

It was the second letter. Biometric office in the email stated they sent me a letter before which I never received and resent the letter which came to me in 3 working days.

The letter just says I have 15 days to provide biometric or my application will be invalid.

My colleague who applied on 3rd Feb got his approval today. It was straight forward application but still took ages to get processed. Looks like we gonna have to wait a little longer. Home Office is taking it's sweet time.
