took this for the FLR application form.

"If you cannot meet the financial requirement through income, you can use relevant cash savings
to enable you to do so. Relevant cash savings are those which you and/or you sponsor hold
which (i) exceed £16,000. The first £16,000 of cash savings you hold cannot be used; (ii) have
been held by you and/or your sponsor for at least 6 months prior to the date of this application;
and (iii) are held at the date of application and (iv) are under the control of and available to be
used by you and/or your sponsor. Only complete this section if your cash savings meet all the
criteria above and any further criteria set out in the guidance notes."

WHAT?!

so lets say i have saved up 20k in a account and its been there for about 10 months. can i use that instead to meet financial requirement ?

No u can't it means applying cat a and d or just cat a..it means combining with your income ..its how I applied..my income is £13,000 and had to have £30,000 savings..the first £16,000 is not even considered.. So u have to make up the shortfall

I have tracked your visa application status and found
that the application has been processed and a decision was made on
03/07/2015 and it should be with you in the next few days.

Please note that your passport and documentation could still take some time
to reach you whilst being sent back from the decision making centre and
whilst other administrative formalities are completed. The visa application
centre will be in contact with you regarding the collection or delivery,
therefore, please check your email (including junk/spam mail folder) on a
regular basis "

hope ll get d gud news soon. need lots prayers!

It's fine anything to help

I added my sons birth certificate as my husband is in it too
I also added my sons passport copy as he had been to Pakistan and it was stamped so obviously could show that and I took some pics of him with his father and submitted those too

If your son has not been to Pakistan, u could just submit birth certificate as I'm assuming your name is on there.. Also u could show some proof on WhatsApp talking about your son or showing your wife sending u pictures/videos obviously his probably too young to talk to u yet so I'm sure they will understand that and if u have any financial responsibility towards your son u could show that too

Hii All,

I'm new here. I will be applying for my spouse visa in August inshallah so just preparing my documents and checking i got everything covered.

Can i post all the application papers from Pakistan to Sheffield office when i apply?

Also i am applying start of August and after my nikkah. I have two options one that I can get unpaid holidays for 2-3 months from current employer i've been working with from past year or I just try my luck and apply because i can't come back to UK staright after my marriage its a bit difficult so got to live there for few months.

What do you suggest I do? I know its not the ideal thing to do but I have no choice as I can't come back straight after.

I meet all the requirements and have all the paperwork just if they check with HMRC then i'm screwed or if I say i am on unpaid holiday then employer confirm am on unpaid holiday so nothing wrong in that case. What to do?

The enquiry service is daft what I would suggest is call them right away and get info over phone
The foreigners who manage the service can't even understand basic English
Or another thing is that email them again and this time some person who hasn't got the attention span of a mouse would respond

might be they used wrong template in email reply,
i would suggest either send another email to enquire status or ring them in morning.
