S.Y.H congratulations on getting the visa.

Can anyone confirm when they are granting the 30 day visa.
Does the 30 day exit rule start the day you pick up your passport.

Or does it work to the date you put on your application for when you would like to leave Pakistan?

Salam brothers and sisters.

As you may know recently my wifes visa was accepted and she is now in the Uk with me mashallah.

My next question now is, please refer me to a different section if its covered there, what do I now need to do she is here in terms of documentation to create and keep. This is more on the history side of things to show when I apply for the next visa.

Any help appreciated.

Also duas for anyone still waiting for a reponse. Inshallah all will be fine.

First of all thank you to all the people here for Info. I have been a silent reader but wanted to ask certain things.
my timeline is as follows:

Applied: 13th April 2015
Received BHC: 14th April 2015
Updates at regular intervals: Not yet assessed by ECO.
Asked for Update 6th July: Application has been processed and will be returned.
7th July 2015: ISLAMVISAinfo email saying application processed and will be returned to you.

Now i know there used to be a two email theory that no longer exists. People who are getting their visas, is there a way you can
look at the processed email and find and know the outcome. Some websites state there is a specific format they send to you and blah blah. And some say there is a unique reference number but i got email saying processed with the subject being Uk visa application and GWF ref no. from ISLAMVISAinfo. Any help will be appreciated cz I am freaking out. Mentally drained. My papers and case are strong but the mind plays games.

There is no way to tell what the outcome will be
Yes there was a two email theory that did exist but even at that time some got 2 emails and got refused
Just keep strong and faith and hopefully you will have a positive outcome
I can imagine the intense pressure but look at it in the way that you waited all this time and it's just a matter of a few days

My brain has stopped functioning literally. 3 months. I have everything that is good. I have been living in England as i had a sportsperson visa and great travel history last ten years. But this internet and people on other forums and boards saying there is a reference number quoted, other wise it is a no, don't know what to believe anymore lol

@debrancherenzym

To make it easy for yourself just believe the fact you have got the email and in a day or 2 days time you will have your passport back in your hands and keep faith that you will have a shiny sticker inside :)

Thank you very much brother. I follow your posts a lot. You are a massive help to people here. May Allah give you ajar. Can you believe a website stated that if they address you as "Dear xxxxx" in the processed email, they are trying to be nice because they know they have refused you. Gosh. lol. Also if at the bottom of the processed email there is a link saying "you can visit xxxxx for British foreign policy and advice on travel", it is a yes.

In Shaa Allah will be remembering you in duas
Using Dear is courtesy and part of the English language
Would be rude just to say your visa xxxxxx
Don't worry and forget these theories
In the end it's Allah we should keep faith in and trust

May Allah swt give you a positive outcome in Shaa Allah

It seems that they have decided 13 to 17 April applications and are communicating their decision. I would think that they are this week looking at 20 to 24 April applications and these people should be hearing next week. Quite a few people here applied around then so next couple of weeks should be interesting.

My additional documents should reach BHC at some stage this week, and they should be looking at my application next week so a close call. Hope they consider the additional documents.

hope4best5 wrote:Hii All,

I'm new here. I will be applying for my spouse visa in August inshallah so just preparing my documents and checking i got everything covered.

Can i post all the application papers from Pakistan to Sheffield office when i apply?

Also i am applying start of August and after my nikkah. I have two options one that I can get unpaid holidays for 2-3 months from current employer i've been working with from past year or I just try my luck and apply because i can't come back to UK staright after my marriage its a bit difficult so got to live there for few months.

What do you suggest I do? I know its not the ideal thing to do but I have no choice as I can't come back straight after.

I meet all the requirements and have all the paperwork just if they check with HMRC then i'm screwed or if I say i am on unpaid holiday then employer confirm am on unpaid holiday so nothing wrong in that case. What to do?
Yes, you can post all papers from Pakistan.

If you apply using either option the visa will be refused. The sensible thing to do will be to apply 6 months after you have returned back from your holiday and are meeting the financial requirements.
TIMELINE

Spouse Visa (Entry Clearance) granted on 20-02-15
FLR-M (Extension) granted on 24-08-17

Salaam Everyone,

I have been a silent reader, May Allah give Sabar to all those still waiting and congratulations to all those who have had there visa granted.

My time scales are as follows:-

Documents Submitted @ Islamabad: 15/04/15
Documents Received BHC ISB: 16/04/15
Processed Email Received 06/07/15

My wife went today (07/07/2015) to pick up her passport and Alhamdulillah she has the visa.
My total wait has been 2 months, 22 days (including weekends) OR 11 weeks and 6 days (including weekends)

Documents which i submitted at the time of application they all are in my name :-

A copy of my British passport
A copy of my National insurance number
6 Months of bank statements Originals (My salary gets paid in on the end of each month but my bank statement ends on the 20th of the month so I took a screenshot of my online banking statement to show my 6th pay going in)
A letter of employment from my current employer
My Job contract & Offer letter
6 Months of payslips (I received them online so i requested my employer to print them on the company letter head)
P60
Land Registry
Mortgage offer letter from my bank
E on Gas and Electric bill
TV licence

Nikah nama was in English (we got this attested)
My wife gave the English test and Alhamdulillah passed first time and TB Medical Test.

We submitted around 30 pics which included Nikka, Barrat, Valeema, skype webcam and selfies around Islamabad after marriage.
We also submitted a log of skype calls which we made after i left for the UK.

That's all that i can remember on the top of my head, will Insha'Allah update if i forgot anything.

Tc all

Thanks alot for the information and ppl updating there time lines.

Borther first of All Ma sha Allah and so happy for you guys. May Allah grant you successfull and happy life from here on.

Quick question to help every one, did you put down that your marriage was arranged? Because when i applied first my application was refused purely becasue we did not include skype/ whats app msges. But we included 100 pics, invitations, marriage cert tickets etc.

Its purely to help other people to understand.

Could you please tell me from what date your 30 days visa was stamped? And once you receive processed email, do gerrys SMS or email you that passport is ready for collection.

Feedback would be much appreciated. Thank you.
