Question about family visit visa

Post by MisfitMeL » Tue Jul 07, 2015 12:19 pm

Hi there!

Hope all the regular contributors here are doing well - and everyone else too :D

I have a question in relation to bringing a family member over for a visit - If I am renting a one bedroom flat, will this cause a problem with the application? The living room is spacious enough to have a sofa that can convert to a bed etc so it should be adequate for someone who is visiting for a few weeks. Is it expected to have a spare bedroom for these things or are they ok as long as the living space is sensibly adequate?

Thanks!

How many people currently live in the 1 bedroom flat and how long is your relative planning to visit?

There's only me in the flat, and the relative would probably stay about a month or so.
