Restricted COS decisions for July 2015

Post by Dancingjuice9 » Sun Jul 05, 2015 3:56 am

Hi all,

My company has resubmitted my application this month. Suppose the outcome is coming soon, I created this post for any updates. Fingers crossed.

Some companies seem to request expedited processing, which means some may be able to receive rcos next week?

Hi All,

My company has resubmitted my application at a score of 40 and they are expecting things to turn out fine this time.
Are there any hopes for 40 this month ? Please do share your thoughts and scores.Thanks.

Mine is also 40. But my company did not say anything regarding the possible outcome. Basically they just said there would be a much higher volume of applications this month. So, I am quite worried...

I am also hoping it's just a blip last month and things return to normal score of 32. Bit nervous about the results as this time we have re-applicants and fresh applicants.. Not sure and still doubtful at 45

Does any one know if the limit (of applications received) was exceeded this time?

BBC reported last month on 11 June even before results were published http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-33101336

Hi Guys -

My employer is reappying this month at 36 points after they had a refusal in May 2015 allocation as there was no closing date in the advert. They again did RLMT inline with home office rules but I am worrying so much this time around as cap could hit my luck not being graned this time as well. :(

Anyone else has 36 points this month alocation??

Hi Guys,

Let's all hope that it gets back to normal in July so everyone gets the fair chances.

Before June 2015, all the months had not been oversubscribed and some of them even had a lot of un-allocated places.

According to the Gov website, MAC will host the July allocation meeting on the 13th.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I am certainly hoping things can work out well for everyone reapplying this time, but I really don't think it looks promising. I have seen media predicting the minimum credit to be as high as 75 for July, while I guess it would be around 45 this time.
Mine is either 33 or 34, so I am not counting on it at all.

Can you link media predictions of the minimum this month being 75?

I'm at 45 and pretty nervous

btw Dancingjuice9, what do you mean by "expedited processing"? Is it some kind of priority or urgency over others?

Hi Rabiya,

My score is 40 as well and crossing fingers that things will turn out fine this time.
This is my first submission for RCoS by my employer.
Hopefully we will get RCoS with these points. :)

Thanks

Hi inkamr,

Pwc said they did this for their employees, and there might be reply before July 11.

Hi guys

I have a question.
For the RLMT, the job advert should contain the salary range (as mentioned in the guidelines).
Whereas for the job adverts in a company's website, I have not seen they mention the salary range. I am confused here. Where exactly do they mention salary range in the adverts (Jobcenter plus + company website).

Kindly advice.

My points are - 36

Is anyone waiting with the same points for July 2015 allocation? Does anyone have any idea, how likely 36 points be granted?

Hi Rasmita - There won't be any cut off timing. As long as they applied on the last day (by 5th), that should be fine.

I'm at a 38 - good luck all.

Keep hope - glass half full, if this month doesn't work out, you can try again for August... right?

Hi guys, can you please let me know which table y'all are using to calculate points? I've found different versions of the salary thresholds.

Also, did your company let you know how many points you have?

There are many helpful sites, below is one of the them. Scroll to Criteria section. You can calculate the score from the type of Job and salary offered.

and if possible update us with the score :D

Hi Rasmita - they normally update outcome of RCoS in 5 working days from 13 July. May I ask which city are you applying from?
