Last Monday I tried my luck and called the home office and explain to them that it's almost 6 months and I had not even received any letter as acknowledgement letter or biometric letter or anything from home office . She said they will call me back in few days , and just today I get a call from them and the officer said my application is pending further inquiries and when asked he said he cannot give details and advices TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER 8-12 WEEKS AND IF I DONT HEAR BY THEN I CAN CALL BACK. When I said next week it will be 6 months he said he don't think I will hear from them in the next 2 weeks and its general qui dance that they reply within 6 months and I said if I speak to my MP, he said I can but it will be same information he just told me.
Please anyone can advice me on that, knowing that I came in 2005 and applied for asylum at airport then was detained for few months at yards wood and deported. After that in 2011(when my husband got his ILR) he applied for marriage visa to me and refused (HO disputed marriage is not geniune, I was pregnant at that time
) then granted in appeal, Came to UK on spouse visa in January 2012. Applied for indefinite same day service in February 2014 and was issued with biometric residence permit. Now I have two kids who are British (although the NCS Officer DID NOT it include their birth certificate in application). Never had any criminal record or penalty.
Please advice or sharing any similar experience will be very much appreciated.
Thank you
