I am not saying they will ask but there is possibility so the basic ones
1-How the business is going
2-Any investment ?
3-Any Employees so far
4-Future Plans for business development etc.

This is my personal view.Just to call someone and ask what is your insurance number? looks unlikely to me

My partner letter from HO today asking me to attend and interview on 11/07/15 relating to my Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa which i got on 01/02/14 without interview call . We are both apply on PSW visa .we are doing sales and marketing business. We have submitted first year annual report and also pId tax with profit. We have also one employee since 1st June 2015. The last time when my partner was coming from Heathrow . HO stop him and ask About the TOIEC exam . That my partner use previously. They have investigate and confirm that we have not use any TOIEC exam in our visa ever.where my partner conduct the exam but not use in any visa. Now my question is that
- why my partner got only interview call ?
- my partner is not able to fluently English . If they fail to my partner in interview and curtail my partner visa. how it is affect to me ?
- they curtail my visa also ? Or
- there will be no affect to my visa ?
"We are currently considering your existing leave to enter/ leave to remain and require you to attend an interview for the purpose of assessing whether any of the grounds of curtailment under paragraphs 245DE(c), 245EE(c), 276BD1, 276BN1, 276BS1, 323 (other than 323(vii)), 323A, 323B, or 323C, apply."

If he hasn't submitted it to the ukba in any of his extention or for entrepreneur, than I don't think there should be any issue,
Its just my personal opinion .

Hi Guys,

First of all don't be panic, be confident.Business interview is just a formal meeting so pls don't afraid treat this interview that you are going to present your business to a new client.
Make a list of questions e.g.

- you must know what you are doing.
-industry knowledge
-potential clients
-investment details
-business plan implementation.
-partculary advertisement

Thanks

Don't worry. If your partner hasn't used toeic then you don't need to worry. Probably your partner had used toeic in any of his previous extension. Just keep us updated.

Then I don't think you need to worry about it. They can't curtail your visa only on business activity, investment or employment because they have given you 3 years to do these things. My personal opinion is they just want to check NI, toeic or investment (if you have shown third party overseas). If you haven't worked on NI. Haven't got extension on toeic and investment is in your account (either personal or business) then just chilAx. :)

Agree with momi. I think the reason you haven't got interview is because you did not sit toiec exam but your partner did pass it. Ukba might have check college data. Only those people received interview who have any link with toiec exam.

Changes related to leave to enter or to stay in the UK and powers of curtailment
Caseworkers will be given the authority to seek evidence or request an interview for those individuals who have limited leave to enter or remain in the UK. This will enable caseworkers to assess and curtail the leave for any individual who no longer qualifies to remain in the UK. It is anticipated caseworkers will contact applicants in writing and any requests for further information must be met within 28 days of issuing the letter, or applicants may be contacted direct to attend an interview. Caseworkers can apply this authority to all leave to enter or remain applications.

Ok. People on ILR application been interviewed because of this. I know someone who been to such interview. They asked him questions regarding test and center and some general questions. After which they said it's ok and he got ILR. So in your case I think they will just check your English level.

Hello Everyone,

I have received an email from HO today asking me to attend and interview on 16/07/15 relating to my Tier 1 General Visa.

The contents of the eMail says

"We are currently considering your existing leave to enter/ leave to remain and require you to attend an interview for the purpose of assessing whether any of the grounds of curtailment under paragraphs 245DE(c), 245EE(c), 276BD1, 276BN1, 276BS1, 323 (other than 323(vii)), 323A, 323B, or 323C, apply."

I have no idea about this and have not seen any thread relating to this on this forum before.

Please advise what they could ask me on the interview and they have asked not to bring any documents.

I showed my income from two sources 1 from limited company plus from employment.

Your help would be highly appreciated

Thank you

Kanga,
What is your current visa status? As from your last post I think it's Tier 1 General not entrepreneur?

I am eligible for ILR on the basis of 5 years in april 2016 and my 10 years will complete in oct 2017.

I have never ever had any rejections or any issues with my visas, I studied from a reputed University so nothing concerning.

Switched from PSW to tier 1 in may 2011 and then extension in 2013 may, for both showed salary plus limited company business as my income.

So I am kind of shocked.
