It has to be within the last 15 months but need to be continous 12 months.
But just be cautious
- 1 July-2006 to 30 Sep-2007 is 14 months not 12 months. For instance, It should be 1 Aug 2006- 30 June 2007, if U have chosen this 12 montsh continous pepriod.

1 Aug-2006 to 30 Oct-2007 is also 14 month. This should be 1 Aug 2006 - 31 July 2007

Actually, both of those periods, Jul06-Sep07 and Aug06-Oct07 (full months, inclusive) are 15-month periods. To be on the safe side, the OP should select a continuous 12-month period for claimed gross earnings, drawn fully from within the 15-month period Aug06-Oct07. I've read of cases being approved with the earnings period claimed in the style of Jul06-Jun07 (transposed to the framework of the OP's sample timeframe for application), but that strikes me as risky, as it implicitly demands leeway that the caseworker may not be inclined to give. Post by ajaysharmanyc2006 » Tue Oct 23, 2007 10:27 am

gordon,

you are right here. i did calculation based on case1 in my first attempt and i got the remark from the case worker that my claim period was beyond 15 months. i was cautious next time and got through in second attempt.
