AKZ, how long did they take from the time you applied to let you know you were missing supporting documents?

It's good to know they took only one week to send the CoA after the Biometrics.

We noticed that the evidence required to prove that the EEA national is a qualified person are "Payslips AND/OR bank statements". We are now thinking of sending the payslips only, and no bank statements at all, or perhaps the statements of the first 3 months only. I am wondering if there's anyone on the forum who has done this? Do you think this might reduce my partner's chances of getting the RC?

Any advice will be much appreciated!
We didn't send bank statements for my husband's account and I still received my RC. The only bank statement we sent was for a joint account we just opened so it only had a couple hundred pounds in it and that was solely for proof of address/our relationship since both names and our address were on it.

This is what we included:
Application
Marriage Certificate
Husband's job contract and offer letter
2 x husband's payslips
Lease (Signed by both of us)
Husband's HMRC tax reference letter
Council tax bill (In husband's name)
Utilities bill (in my name)
Bank statement for our joint account

Hi jenangeles,

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! This was what we were hoping to hear:)
Of course we're aware that the outcome depends on so many different things, but your input caused at least a bit of a relief.

We sent the application today, and will share the timeline here as soon we see some progress.

Have you ever gave your finger print or taken photo during visa application or family permit before coming to here?

Not yet, the sad part is it seems the new form is the source of all evil!

I was checking some timelines today pre new-form and there are MANY folks who got their RC within 4 months of the COA.

Application sent: 07.07
Received in HO: 09.07
Payment deduction:
Biometrics:
COA w/right to work:
Applied as: EEA Citizen spouse >4 years

I have made a promise to a perspective employer (dream offer) to start beginning of August. Really stressed now.....

Funny thing is I have a valid EEA family permit valid until the end of this year. It is, according to the Home Office, a valid document (not this situation when I called last week). But now I do not have the originals with me at hand.......

The expired FP + your COA + something that proves your relationship to your wife should be good.

From what I read, it really depends on the migration officer you get, but those three things up there should suffice.

Submitted fingerprints and photos in Australia for the family permit before arriving in the UK, however, the EEA2 form clearly states that a new set of biometrics will be required, so it is unavoidable.

I compared that to my previous visitor VISA, FP does not say that I cannot work.

Yes you should call, not having the COA for a month is not standard.

Were you deducted the fee?

You can request passport back and it won't affect your application
